A number of prominent youth organizations are pressing President Biden to run on a progressive platform in order to galvanize Millennial and Generation Z voters in 2024, according to a letter first obtained by The Hill following Biden’s reelection announcement on Tuesday. The letter, which was signed by March for Our Lives, Gen Z for Change, the Sunrise Movement, and United We Dream Action, calls on Biden to deliver and run on “bold” policies, including combatting climate change, enacting gun control restrictions, and protecting immigrants rights.

ost of the fact-checking organizations Facebook has partnered with to monitor and regulate information about Ukraine are directly funded by the U.S. government, either through the U.S. Embassy or via the notorious National Endowment for Democracy (NED).In light of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, an information war as bitter as the ground fighting has erupted, and Meta (Facebook’s official name) announced it had partnered with nine organizations to help it sort fact from fiction for Ukrainian, Russian and other Eastern European users. These nine organizations are: StopFake, VoxCheck, Fact Check Georgia, Demagog, Myth Detector, Lead Stories, Patikrinta 15min, Re:Baltica and Delfi.The...

After the Iran deal, American Jews turned to the “Establishment” of liberal Jewish organizations to whom they had written out so many checks over the years expecting them to do something about it. And the organizations did what they do best. They expressed concern. The ADL was “deeply concerned” about the Iran nuclear deal two years ago. It announced that it now has “cause for concern”.

CANBERRA, Australia - The Australian government on Wednesday re-listed Ansar al-Islam, Lashkar-e Jhangvi and Jaish-e-Mohammad, from Pakistan, and the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan as terrorist organisations, Efe news agency reported. These organisations, which have been listed since 2003, would continue to be listed for another three years, according to a statement from the Australian Attorney-General's Department. Under this measure, it remains a criminal offence to direct the activities of, be a member of, recruit for, train for or receive training from these groups. It would also be a criminal offence to get funds to, from, or for, provide support to,...
  • Obama: Pope Didn't Raise Obamacare 'In Detail' But I Told Vatican Sec. of State 'Most Religious

(CNSNews.com) – President Obama said Pope Francis did not raise Obamacare “in detail” when they met on Thursday, but that in a separate meeting with the Vatican’s secretary of state “we discussed briefly the issue of making sure that conscience and religious freedom was observed in the context of applying the law.” At a joint press conference with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, Obama also acknowledged that he differs with the Vatican’s stance on some issues, but added that he “heartily” agrees with most of its positions. - See more at:

The battle over military retirement benefits in the budget deal was the first skirmish in a larger compensation war, and next year's outcome could determine the fate of long-protected military compensation programs. Budget experts and veterans groups say the retirement benefits fight will serve as a test case to see what appetite there is on Capitol Hill to actually cut military compensation costs — and how much blowback will come from those efforts. “There’s no doubt that this is a little bit of a weather vane, a litmus test as to what the veterans and military communities’ tolerance is going...

I remember back in the 70's one of the primary conservative organizations was the Americans for Constitutional Action. They were the conservative answer to the Americans for Democratic Action just as the Committee for the Survival of a Free Congress was conservatism's answer to the National Committee for an Effective Congress. Yet I have never found the organizations's official web page or even heard it mentioned in decades. It doesn't even have an article in Wikipedia. Does anyone know whatever became of the ACA?
  • Which Seniors Organization is the best alternative to AARP? (major Vanity)

I know this is a major vanity. However, I want to know what's the best Seniors Organization out there. I turned 50 last June, and I'm thinking about retiring from my teaching job. The Blue Cross/Blue Shield coverage goes up dramatically for retirees, and I'd like something that might be more affordable. I definitely want something opposing AARP, which is the Seniors Political Arm of the Obama Administration. However, in doing research there's several to choose from. AMAC, American Seniors Association, Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC), the National Active Retirement Association, etc. Which one to choose? Which one's best?...

Leaders of the resurrected radical group ACORN are lobbying the Obama administration in what appears to be a concerted effort to game the electoral system to help Democrats, new evidence suggests. At least five Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now leaders have visited the White House this year alone. One of those ACORN officials has been involved in vetting Department of Justice hires who may help to enforce the voter fraud-enabling National Voting Rights Act (NVRA), also known as the Motor-Voter law. The Department has come under fire for refusing to enforce Section 8, which requires states to remove...

Mexican drug-trafficking organizations “control access to the U.S.-Mexico border” and the “smuggling routes across” it, “resulting in unprecedented levels of violence in Mexico” and allowing those drug trafficking organizations and their associates to “dominate the supply and wholesale distribution of most illicit drugs in the United States,” according to the Justice Department's newly published 2011 National Drug Threat Assessment. “Mexican-based trafficking organizations control access to the U.S.–Mexico border, the primary gateway for moving the bulk of illicit drugs into the United States,” says the assessment published by DOJ’s National Drug Intelligence Center. “The organizations control,

For the time being these attacks seem to be limited to teenagers, but it won’t be long before we see professional criminal organizations begin to use them to coordinate higher-end robberies or even vendettas against others. As was pointed out in the afforementioned article, researchers suggest that it takes only 5% of a group to influence the actions of the other 95%. When the call goes out, the mob will act without even knowing why – they just will. This is exactly what happened in Wisconsin when they began vandalizing fair storefronts and robbing them, eventually turning their attention to...

WASHINGTON –The head of the Federal Trade Commission said Tuesday the agency will study whether government should aid struggling news organizations, which are suffering from a collapse in advertising revenues as the internet upends their centuries-old business model. FTC Chairman Jon Leibowitz's comments came during day one of a two-day "workshop" sponsored by the agency that became a forum for arguments among the heads of a diverse array of news organizations over the future of journalism. Mr. Leibowitz said his agency will examine whether government should change the way the industry is regulated, from making news-gathering companies exempt from antitrust...

Organizing for America (OFA) is the rebranded successor to Obama for America, the election campaign organization for Barack Obama in 2008. It works in partnership with the Democratic National Committee to mobilize support for Obama's policy agenda. Organizing for America is essentially a nation-wide lobby organization to promote and build support for Obama's political agenda, the latest incarnation of what some such as reporter Ari Melber have called "Obama 2.0" composed of his many millions of technologically-connected supporters and contributors linked by his having their 13 million email addresses and millions of cell phone numbers for instant text messages. The list of businesses, organizations, celebrities, and other notable entities who actively support anti-2nd Amendment gun control laws and policies is far too long to post here. IIRC it has been previously posted, but I thought that in light of the tragic inauguration that will take place on the 20th day of this month unless Almighty God mercifully intervenes, perhaps it would be a good idea to review who and what businesses and orgs want to deny us our Constitutional right to keep and bear arms. If you are interested in knowing who and/or what business or org wants to...
