Warning: This story contains words and images that are graphic and cruel. A Maricopa County Superior Court judge and her staff mocked and ridiculed people during hearings and trials by routinely emailing each other cruel and obscene statements, jokes, and memes. The conduct happened in major felony cases, including high-profile capital murders. Emails and internal records obtained by ABC15 show no one was off-limits: Defendants, their families, jurors, witnesses, attorneys, even other court employees and top court officials. The judge was Erin O’Brien Otis.

The RCMP has arrested and charged a high-level official with the force in a major national security case. Cameron Ortis faces seven charges dating back to 2015 under both the Criminal Code and the Security of Information Act, and Global News has learned the RCMP believe he stole “large quantities of information, which could compromise an untold number of investigations.” Other sources referred to the case as “serious spy s–t.” ...he was likely the only civilian to ever achieve the position of director general of intelligence. That role gave him control over RCMP counter-intelligence operations. ...charges relate specifically with unauthorized...

The morning after Hurricane Harvey tore into Texas, Gulf Coast residents were already trying to prepare for life after the destructive storm ― including Otis, the dog. Tiele Dockens was checking out the damage for friends and family in Sinton, north of Corpus Christi, when she saw Otis on the street carrying a large bag of dog food. “It was after the storm this morning when I went to town to check damage on properties,” Dockens told HuffPost on Saturday. “Lots of people were out in their yards and streets cleaning up branches, trees and debris.” To Dockens, the golden...

A 43-year-old woman was found dead in an elevator in China after possibly being trapped for a month. A maintenance crew was called to inspect a malfunctioning elevator in a residential building in the Gaoling district of Xi’an on Jan. 30, according to a local government statement. The elevator had stopped between the 10th and 11th floors, so workers yelled from the 11th floor to see if anyone was inside instead of opening the doors to check. They did not hear an answer, and then cut off the power supply leaving the elevator stuck midway. When they returned on March...

OBAMA is seen in this video at a rally, PUBLICLY THANKING TRINITY CHURCH's new leftist PASTOR ! Calling him, "My good friend & wisest man!" I dug & found this revealing tape & comment! Proves Obama is an unrepentant leftist! He said he had to leave that Anti-American Trinity church & months later, he praise the new pastor, whose views are similar to Rev. Wright! He was the younger assistant Pastor to Wright! You think Wright would select anyone whose views are very different? No! Obama very likely has gone back quietly to Church there. MSM will HUSH that story....

Barack and Michelle Obama's Racist and Anti-American Church Key talking point: Jeremiah Wright is merely a symptom of the Trinity United Church of Christ's racism and hatred of America. The people who directed the church sanctioned the publication of Wright's hate speech plus a guest piece from...

Suppose that a political candidate of the Caucasian persuasion belonged to a church whose minister (call him JimCrow White for the sake of argument) consorted openly with the Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, and arranged an award for the Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan. The same minister proclaimed that the Black people in New Orleans got a wake-up call with Hurricane Katrina. This minister’s replacement then welcomed a guest speaker who proclaimed from the pulpit, with the church’s tax exempt resources, that “There were a whole lot of Black people crying” because the candidate’s African-American opponent...

Rockets are getting us nowhere fast. Since the dawn of the space age, the way we get into space hasn't changed: we spend tens or hundreds of millions of dollars on a rocket whose fundamental operating principle is a controlled chemical explosion. We need something better, and that something is a space elevator—a superstrong, lightweight cable stretching 100 000 kilometers from Earth's surface to a counterweight in space. Roomy elevator cars powered by electricity would speed along the cable. For a fraction of the cost, risk, and complexity of today's rocket boosters, people and cargo would be whisked into space...

CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico (AP) - Newly formed Hurricane Otis swept toward a sparsely populated stretch of Baja California on Friday, forcing dozens of people to evacuate low-lying neighborhoods on the outskirts of this western resort city. In glitzy hotel zones, tourists continued to splash around in cavernous swimming pools under skies that were mostly sunny, with intermittent bouts of rain. But on the outskirts of town - where many service industry employees live with their families in poverty - officials were bracing for heavy winds and driving downpours that could spark flash flooding. Mayor Luis Armando Diaz led a...

I’ve been bitching and griping a bit here about my recent DUI arrest. All my fault, but there it was. Let’s talk a little bit about jail. I got to spend five days in the county jail, so I think I am qualified to have an opinion. Overall, it was not all that bad. Most of the people were pretty nice. Inmates, guards, etc. There were some jerks, but not more than anywhere else. You definitely do mind your manners. The jail where I was had three “holding cells”. There was one for the normal boys, most of us who...
