VIDEOAfter shooting his mouth off and boasting that he would make the Saudi government a "pariah" during the 2020 campaign, poor Joe Biden is now forced to completely humiliate himself and grovel before the leaders of Saudi Arabia that he labeled as murderers in order to BEG for oil.

President Joe Biden has defended an upcoming meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) after coming under attack by the left for not sticking to his campaign promise to turn Riyadh into a “pariah” state, saying he would only be seeing MBS during a broader “international meeting.” As part of his campaign, Biden promised to make “human rights the center of U.S. foreign policy” and as part of that, Saudi Arabia was condemned as a “pariah” for its role in the murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018.

Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) said Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Your World” that it “hurts” when asked how it feels to be a pariah in the Republican Party. On the January 6 Capitol riot, Cavuto asked, “The leadership was almost universally critical at the time, including Mitch McConnell and Kevin Mccarthy and others, yourself, of course, that raised serious questions about the president’s behavior at the time and then radio silence. What happened?”

Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, could be among the most influential lawmakers when the next Congress convenes in January -- with Senate Republicans holding a 52-48 majority at best. Collins’ position of prominence wasn’t certain. Polling before the election showed Democrats with a good chance of taking control of the Senate and polls showed her campaigning from behind against her Democratic opponent, Sara Gideon, Maine’s House speaker, who outspent her. But Democrats’ hopes for a blue wave crashed and Collins handily won her race by 9 points, a larger win than even she expected. “I was very gratified that the margin...

Former White House chief strategist Stephen K. Bannon’s hopes of leading a revolt in the Republican Party this year suffered a severe blow Thursday as his allies rebuked and abandoned him following a nasty public break with President Trump. Candidates who once embraced Bannon distanced themselves from his efforts, groups aligned with his views sought separation, and his most important financial backer, the billionaire Mercer family, which has championed him for years, announced that it was severing ties. Even his position as chairman of Breitbart News, a website he has referred to as one of his most effective “weapons,” was...

Iran's former President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Wednesday stunned the country by unexpectedly filing to run in the May presidential election, contradicting a recommendation from the supreme leader to stay out of the race. Ahmadinejad's decision could upend an election many believed would be won by moderate President Hassan Rouhani, who negotiated the nuclear deal with world powers. Though Rouhani has yet to formally register, many viewed him as a shoe-in following Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's recommendation in September for Ahmadinejad to stand down and conservatives' inability to coalesce around a single candidate. Ahmadinejad's firebrand style could prove appealing for...

Curly Haugland loves the rules..... North Dakota’s top Republican gadfly, its rule-mongering crank, its official state pain in the ass. On the national GOP’s standing rules committee, he’s been the pedantic curmudgeon, the stubborn speed bump who for years has raised points of order only to watch establishment Republicans stampede over him. ... Haugland has become one of the most dangerous men in politics: He’s the mainstream GOP’s last hope to deny Donald Trump the Republican nomination in Cleveland. It would take a miracle—and almost certainly lead to a historic split in the party—but there is still a way, buried...

They say that perception is important, especially in politics. So even though Obama’s new, tricked-out bus for his three-day, Midwest bus tour was purchased through a U.S. retailer, the fact that it was made in Canada will surely raise some eyebrows. Rumors started swirling this week on blogs and in comment sections that Obama’s bus — nicknamed “Greyhound One” — was not American-made, which is ironic considering part of the president’s goal on the tour has been to talk about jobs and getting Americans back to work. The (Canucklehead Obama bus-ted! (PHOTOS) the large vehicles were originally built in Canada...

Last night, Rupert Murdoch gave an extraordinary speech at an Anti-Defamation League dinner in which he revealed, yet again, that he is a true and selfless friend of the Jewish people and of Israel. Here is the text: You [the ADL] were founded a century ago against the backdrop of something we cannot imagine in America today: the conviction and then lynching of an innocent Jew. In the century since then, you have fought anti-Semitism wherever you have found it. You have championed equal treatment for all races and creeds. And you have held America to her founding promise. So...

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — The Anglican Church in Southeast Asia said Friday that it has severed ties with its U.S. counterpart for elevating an openly gay man to the rank of bishop — another sign of growing disapproval for the move around the world. Archbishop Yong Ping Chung, the Anglican Primate for Southeast Asia, said leaders representing about 170,000 Anglicans in eight Asian countries voted unanimously on Nov. 20 to cut ties with the U.S. Episcopal Church, a member of the 77 million-member global Anglican Communion. The Southeast Asian leaders voted at a special meeting of the region's synod,...

Alabama residents are wreaking a nasty revenge on the woman who took their state’s chief justice to court over his religious monument Aug. 22 — By stubbornly refusing a federal court order to remove the Ten Commandments monument in his courthouse, Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore has been hailed by Christian fundamentalists as a man of great courage. Lesser known, but no less courageous is the woman who dared stand up to Justice Moore. FOR HIS DEFIANCE, Moore has become a home-state hero, paving the way for a future run for a U.S. Senate seat. For her brave...

Pariah Against A Prophet By Marc Miyake, Amritas.Com Many conservatives regard Chomsky as a linguist who falters out of his field. Unfortunately, they are giving Chomsky too much credit. Chomsky's linguistics are as warped as his politics. As someone with a PhD in linguistics, I think I am qualified to judge his professional credentials. Prior to Chomsky, linguists engaged in a lot of data collection to understand the diversity of human language. I'm vehemently anti-PC, but in this case, I think the word 'diversity' is justified. There's a lot out there, and someone's got to catalog it. However, Chomsky...
