A few months back, I experienced what a friend of mine and many libertarians and conservative parents say they have experienced: My teenagers started spouting leftist platitudes. Being combative and sarcastic by nature (since all Cubans are born with a sharp tongue), we all ended up angry and frustrated. Upon subsequent calm reflection, I realized I had accomplished nothing. And so I tried another approach. To my complete surprise, there was a 180-degree turnaround in the teens’ views. I would now like to share the tactics I used and give the following advice to those who are at wit’s end.

Are you literally FEEDING cancer cells by putting this one food on your dinner plate? This is important. You must stop eating this food today or you could be growing cancer cells. Now here's where it gets really interesting... As soon as you STOP eating it, the opposite happens: Cancer cells STARVE to death -- and die out by the thousands. Skeptical? See the proof here.

It’s hard to imagine anything worse for a democracy than journalists coordinating with political operatives and spies who are paid by the press to leak information about American citizens. But that’s where we are. We have hit rock-bottom.

Have you ever wondered why when you go into an airport all the TV’s are showing CNN. There are lots of other news networks but CNN seems to have a monopoly. In a recent segment on his show, Tucker Carlson explained what’s behind this.
  • Cuomo Ignores Big Difference between Photos of Franken, and Porter Wife

Hey Chris: it’s the difference between a photo of someone robbing a safe, and a photo of an empty safe . . . The allegations against former Trump aide Rob Porter are serious. There is reason to believe that he physically abused his former wives. That said, Chris Cuomo has ignored a big difference in the photos involved in the two cases. On CNN this morning, Chris Cuomo said that Pres. Trump is “playing favorites,” given his strong reaction to the photo of Al Franken groping a woman and his muted reaction to the photo of a former wife of...
  • The 6 Worst Christmas Movies of All Time

Christmas movies are great. Or, rather, as a general rule Christmas movies are great. The stop-motion classic Santa Clause Is Comin' To Town takes us on a nostalgic trip back to the Christmases of our childhood. Irving Berlin's White Christmas envelopes us in all of the warm Christmas feels that each new Hallmark Christmas movie attempts to duplicate. However, among the great Christmas movies that we enjoy every year are sprinkled some clumps of movie coal. Some Christmas movies are downright awful, as the following list proves.

(Video at Link) The media world is reeling from a series of high profile retractions and corrections from some of the biggest names in broadcast and print. ABC, CNN and The Washington Post have all been accused of publishing ‘fake news’ by the White House over the last week. All stories have resulted in corrections, retractions or deletions. When asked about the series of journalistic errors and if they are different from organized disinformation, Sanders said:

Okay, so this is a vanity post, but jeez, how many times are we supposed to get dragged into this crap? It happened all during the election with the Assange/DotCom/FBI/etc. "BOMBSHELL" releases of emails/recordings/videos/indictments coming TOMORROW (I mean, the hash codes have been released all over the internet for the big file transfer, right?!?). Oh, and not to mention the big "BOMBSHELL" that Sessions and Mueller are preparing to drop on the unsuspecting Clintons and Podestas. You know Sessions, that 34-level chess player who is operating so far beyond our comprehension, that the impending indictments will throw us all into...

A mother who no longer liked her child's middle name has won the right to have it removed in a legal challenge costing thousands of pounds in legal aid. In the new case the mother, who cannot be named, objected to the child's middle name because it was the same as an infamous public figure which she said gave it negative connotations and would therefore harm the child. But the father wants to keep the name arguing it is an essential part of the child's identity. So the mother took the case to the family court where she was granted...

Remember back in December 2014, when Discovery Channel hyped that a man would be eaten and then regurgitated by a giant snake on a special called “Eaten Alive?” Then that didn’t actually happen, and viewers were furious? We bring this up because 57 minutes into Discovery’s heavily-promoted Sunday night Shark Week program — in which Olympic powerhouse swimmer Michael Phelps was set to race against a great white shark — viewers heard this quote from ecologist Tristan Gutteridge, one the featured scientists:
