Asking for prayers for someone whom I have never met. One of my sons works with Jen, who recently learned that she has bone cancer in one leg and cancer in one of her lungs. Prayers requested also for this woman's husband Phil, a marine, and for her 2 small children.

Please pray for the very sick handmaiden of God, Maxine. She is the wife of my oldest friend from the Army. We were stationed together in Weisbaden back in the 80's. My oldest daughter would crawl up the stairwell to her door to see her at 1 year old. Maxine had a heart attack last Friday and my friend told me today they will take her off the ventilator today. Maxine is a dedicated wife and mother.

My niece had a baby 2 weeks ago, Ezra, strapping little boy. Six days ago he stopped eating. Four days ago he had surgery to repair what was thought to be a bad Pyloric valve in his stomach. Surgery went 'well' but it did not solve the problem, still will not keep anything down. Today they are doing ultrasound, again. Little guy is now 1.5 pounds below his birth weight and still not keeping any food down. Doctors say not to panic, yet. Mom and dad are beside themselves already, and the little one is hooked up to machines, scary....

Hi, I feel like I have relied on FR so much recently. Everything is breaking down around here. My husband checked himself into a hospital a couple of days ago; he needs heart bypass surgery. A statement from the U.S. Navy says two crewmen bailed out of a Marine Corps aircraft on Wednesday when it lost power on takeoff from the USS Makin Island. The pilot of the MV-22 Osprey was able to regain control and land safely aboard the ship. The Navy says the other crewman who bailed out was rescued and is in stable condition.
