It’s always interesting reading when someone smug and sanctimonious writes a clueless diatribe about another group of people being smug and sanctimonious. So when I saw that an economist for Moody’s and Forbes had written an op-ed calling self-reliant homesteaders “delusional,” I knew I’d be in for some misinformed hilarity. The article, entitled, “Dear Homesteaders, Self-Reliance Is a Delusion” was published a couple of days ago on the Forbes website. You’ll be forewarned that the article won’t be deep in the first paragraph, when the author presents his claim to knowledge about self-reliant living comes from the fact that he...

Here’s how most Venezuelans lost an average of 19 pounds in 2016, and how to make sure it doesn’t happen again in 2017 In early 2017, a nationwide survey of the people of Venezuela showed that during the year 2016, almost 75% of the population had lost weight due to not having enough food, and that their average weight loss was 19 pounds. Before I explain how this came to happen, I want to start out by explaining what did not cause this to happen. Many media outlets have been blaming Venezuela’s food shortages on the 2014 collapse in the price of oil....

Since the Donald entered the White House, America has gone from bad to worse as far as violence goes. The rise of mob violence, riots, and outright targeting of people by domestic terrorist groups – like Antifa, Communists, Black Lives Matter, and other Soros-funded radical far-left groups – isn’t to be taken lightly. We saw Berkeley blow up in riots because Milo Yiannopoulos was invited to speak there. We saw mobs rioting in Portland. We saw Washington D.C. trashed at the Women’s March and inauguration riots, and we saw violent leftists attack people at a College Republicans event at NYU...

Germans have been arming themselves with illegal guns and grenades to protect themselves from migrants. A website calling itself Migrant Fright was discreetly selling what it describes as first-class quality goods so that its customers can avoid 'annoying bureaucratic hurdles or annoying paperwork'. The website has since been closed down, but Germans who have already received the weapons in the post, are practicing firing the guns in their back gardens in preparation for potentially aiming it at a prospective terrorist.

THERE is a one in eight chance that the Earth will be hit by a huge solar storm by 2020 which could potentially leave the world without Internet, phone service and many more services that modern-day humans rely on. Researchers have warned that there is roughly a 12 per cent chance that a solar storm could smash into Earth by the end of the decade. The powerful event would likely be as huge as the Carrington Event, which occurred on 1859. The solar storm which hit 150 years ago was so powerful that its southern auroras could be seen as...

Team Obama/Hillary/Network Media keep blaming Russia for interfering in our election when Julian Assange has stated that the source for their massive treasure trove of leaks IS NOT THE RUSSIANS. So why do Team Obama, Hillary, THE MEDIA and numerous other Democrat officials keep blaming the Russians when it's likely they have nothing to do with the leaks? Perhaps this corrupt administration is setting us up for a NATIONWIDE electoral system crash they THEMSELVES WILL TRIGGER if it looks like Trump is going to win. Is this why the DHS has been clambering for months to get their dirty hands...

Sharyl Attkisson's Full Measure News has a feature about how vulnerable the electrical grid is to disruption. It didn't take an EMP over Kansas to convince me, my family was left huddling in sleeping bags during the day time for 4 days by a tree branch shorting out a transformer at the end of my block. In 2013 some people didn't see the Bosnian War Survivor's list of 101 things you need to survive. #1 on my list is 'anything pertaining to 'How to eat' without electricity--a generator is a white elephant. Somewhere in the top 5 is going to be...

An unnamed former senior military officer has apparently claimed all evidence shows Russian submarines will enter the US via the small village of Wasilla, in Alaska. According to the ex-Navy brass, the stretch of coastline is totally unprotected and would be ideal to stage an attack from. He said: “Our feeling in the Navy was that Obama had turned Alaska into a defenseless area that will serve as a forward base of operations when World War III begins. “We are the verge of being invaded from Alaska all the way down into Canada and eventually the Northwest.”

DMV records, plus a cavalier approach to mugshot databases, puts half of the US in the system Half of all American adults are already in some sort of facial recognition network accessible to law enforcement, according to a comprehensive new study. Conducted over a year and relying in part on Freedom of Information and public record requests to 106 law enforcement agencies, the study, conducted by Georgetown Law’s Center on Privacy and Technology, found American police use of facial recognition technology is a scattered, hodgepodge network of laws and regulations.

Millions of American teenagers are at risk of running out of food or don't have access to affordable, healthy food. Some of them are so desperate, they're selling their bodies and committing crimes to go to jail to ensure regular meals, according to an Urban Institute study. Breaking down the numbers The study found at least 6.8 million people were "food insecure," meaning they didn't have reliable access to affordable, healthy food. Another 4 million were in "marginally food secure" households, where the "threat of running out of food is real." All of the 10 communities surveyed in focus groups...

LEXINGTON, KY - A report of a car full of men in body armor with semi-automatic weapons brought Lexington police to the Walmart on Richmond Road on Saturday night. Officers found two men, one in body armor, a 20-year-old woman and a six-month old baby. Lt. A 26-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were in the car with their 6-month-old baby and a 19-year-old man, police spokeswoman Brenna Angel said Monday....

When Greg Burel tells people he's in charge of some secret government warehouses, he often gets asked if they're like the one at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark, where the Ark of the Covenant gets packed away in a crate and hidden forever. "Well, no, not really," says Burel, director of a program called the Strategic National Stockpile at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Thousands of lives might someday depend on this stockpile, which holds all kinds of medical supplies that the officials would need in the wake of a terrorist attack with a chemical,...

Martial law will not come in the form of an executive order to carpet bomb Atlanta. The suspension of rights will come in response to the socioeconomic collapse that the government has been engineering or triggered by natural disasters. It will not come as a sudden shock by unreasonably unleashing military force to begin with, but by taking advantage of the subtle weaknesses which have already been established letting the ensuing chaos to do the dirty work of eliminating resistance and dwindling the population to a manageable number. Gun registration/confiscation is a huge benchmark in the loss of liberty. As...

President Obama has pushed the "prepper movement" into high gear, sending millions to buy guns, survival gear and food to live through a "civil war," according to a nationally known survivalist who calls on Americans to prepare in a new book. Bryce M. Towsley, whose "Prepper Guns" details the best weapons and ammo to survive a political or natural disaster, wrote, "I have watched in horror as Obama has attacked America with the brilliance that has allowed him to succeed." The National Rifle Association field editor and a well-known survivalist said he is calling on Americans to be ready for...
