So much has been said or written about whether or not school children should be returning to on-site classes during the fall. Many voices on the right say that children's propensity for contracting the virus and having any lingering ill-effects is rather small. Voices on the left, well, who can be sure what they're saying? Some have health concerns, but most seem to favor anything that will disrupt the nation and potentially cause harm to the Trump Administration.

Apple CEO Tim Cook just announced a new series of larger iPhone models, and the products are already being criticized by some women who claim the phones have a sexist design. On Wednesday, Cook announced that the company would be expanding their iPhone X line with three new phones. While the smallest of these products, the iPhone XS, has a 5.8-inch screen, the largest, the iPhone XS Max has a whopping 6.5-inch screen, making it Apple’s largest iPhone ever. Additionally, the company also announced that they would be discontinuing their iPhone SE, which had a 4-inch screen. Numerous women have...

Okay so what is the problem we fear most about our cell phones? Other than the battery blowing up in our pockets which is rare, the big fear is dropping your cell phone and breaking your screen. Sure, there are cases that help prevent that but it's not a perfect solution. The fact is that shattered cell phone screens is the biggest problem with cell phones. And when they break, it can cost you HUNDREDS of dollars to replace. The screens themselves aren't all that expensive: you can get a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge replacement screen for between $20 and...
  • Why atheist Richard Dawkins says the Lord’s Prayer deserves to be on UK cinema screens

The Church of England has received unlikely backing from the biologist and prominent atheist Richard Dawkins after the UK’s three leading cinema chains refused to screen its advertisement featuring the Lord’s Prayer. The 60-second advert was due to be shown before Star Wars: the Force Awakens, released on December 18, which would have guaranteed it a huge cinema audience in the run-up to Christmas. But the Odeon Cineworld and Vue chains, which control 80 per cent of screens around the country, have refused to allow it because of a policy not to allow political or religious advertising...The decision prompted an...

WASHINGTON (AFP) – Adult Americans spend an average of more than eight hours a day in front of screens -- televisions, computer monitors, cellphones or other devices, according to a new study. The study also found that live television in the home continues to attract the greatest amount of viewing time with the average American spending slightly more than five hours a day in front of the tube. The figure drops to 210 minutes a day of average TV viewing time among 18-24 year olds but rises to 420 minutes a day among those aged 65 and older. The "Video...

    Fiedor Report On the News #321 ^ | 10-17-04 | Doug Fiedor
Anyone still remember the mess all the news outlets made of reporting election results in 2000? Many of us still wonder if that wasn't a contrived deal to help Gore. Newscasters actually were calling the winner in states (like Florida) while citizens were still voting. The problem started with a company named Voter News Service. VNS was owned by the Associated Press and the television networks. It was a profit making organization, a business. The rabidly left AP ran a large part of VNS, so there's little surprise about how they reported things. Generally, through polls and exit polls, VNS...
