During the "humanitarian crisis" that immediately developed when 50 illegal aliens showed up in the exclusive, mostly Democratic enclave of multi-million-dollar seasonal mansions, a question arose in my mind.

Why would anyone be surprised that the exclusivists – Our other home is in the Tribeca or Upper East Side or Battery Park section of New York – got upset when illegal aliens without DEWALT 20V MAX* XR Leaf Blowers or household staff uniforms showed up in their neighborhoods? They're not welcome as pool cleaners; after all, we can’t have illegals looking at the mothers and daughters wearing bikinis.

They are going there to get subsidized Section 8 housing vouchers to take to another state. Refugee resettlement is a euphemism for importing whole Muslim communities, importing jihad. I have long documented the targeting of gateway cities (smaller cities) overwhelmed with Muslim refugee immigration from countries like Somalia — cities like Emporia, Kansas, Nashville, Greeley and Fort Morgan, Colorado, Lewiston, Maine et al. The over-saturation and drain on city resources has driven these immigrants northward to settle in Wyoming, according to these reports. Organizations like Lutheran Family Services profit enormously from the Federal government handling these refugees. The sharia compliant...

Harrisonburg, Va. (WHSV) -- Tenants are blowing off steam, after receiving a notice sent out by the Harrisonburg Redevelopment and Housing Authority. It details its ban on smoking. The federal government helps low-income families in need of housing by way of a program named Section 8, which issues rental vouchers for qualifying recipients. The vouchers can be used to pay rent on any property that accepts Section 8 renters. Many factors determine what a monthly stipend rate will be, but household income and headcount are the primary factors. In general, to qualify for Section 8, the family's income may not exceed 50 percent of the median income for the county or metropolitan area in which the family chooses to live. Public housing agencies, or PHAs, collect information on...

Many Americans are noticing a fundamental disconnect in American life between the amount of resources consumed by government — including an $814 billion stimulus, a $3.5 trillion budget and a $13.5 trillion national debt — and the lack of results delivered to the taxpayers. Since the president took office, the economy has lost more than 2.5 million jobs and unemployment today stands at 9.6% and rising. Americans are demanding that policymakers identify those federal programs that are not working and stop wasting their money on them. But the spending addiction of politicians in both parties and the power of special...

Government Test Tracks Families Who Moved; Girls Flourish, Not Boys ___ JACKSONVILLE, N.C. -- A decade ago, Lydia Grayson got as far away from her drug-addled, East Harlem housing project as she could. At the time, she was a 28-year-old mother of three, and, she says, a drug user. She took a federal housing voucher and packed her family on a Greyhound bus with one-way tickets to North Carolina. Climbing out of poverty hasn't been as easy as getting on the bus. She says her life is now drug-free and more stable, and her children are growing up in a...

HUD secretary booed at Baptist convention By JANET McCONNAUGHEY Associated Press writer NEW ORLEANS -- The nation's largest black church group interrupted President Bush's housing secretary with sustained boos when he said Thursday that the Republican Party is committed to helping blacks. Alphonso Jackson, who is black, appeared at the annual meeting of the National Baptist Convention USA a few hours before Democratic presidential hopeful John Kerry was scheduled. "Kerry's not going to say anything about what's better about his party -- he's going to make an emotional speech and blame the Republican Party," Jackson predicted. As such things go,...
