A mass shooting in China is said to have happened in Shandong Province New Year Day, Feb 10. Up to 21 murdered including two families and two police. Murderer(s) used modified staple gun to shoot bullets. Also used cleaver. I’ve been hearing about it for a couple days, writhing for news reports. None have come out yet. China of course censors news. Below is one translated report from those putting out the info. I’ll link to others below. There are also YouTube channels that report on it. From Teacher Li Some reliable news updates from Zhaike Village, Rizhao Ju County,...
  • Analysis: Xi's confidence in aircraft carriers shaken after Moskva sinking

China was able to reverse-engineer much of the former Soviet aircraft carriers and improve its own related technologies -- despite previously having no experience with them. But if the armor of the Varyag is based on former Soviet standards, the sinking of the Moskva will only make Chinese leaders fret over its vulnerability to incoming advanced missiles. Since its commissioning in 2012, the Liaoning has been considered one of the Chinese navy's key assets. It often sails near Taiwan, including through the Taiwan Strait. But following the war in Ukraine, if Chinese President Xi Jinping, chairman of the Central Military...

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) conducted its Seventh National Population Census (hereinafter referred to as the Census) using 00:00 hours of Nov. 1, 2020, as the reference time. Although an official government report of the census reveals an increase in China’s population, the CCP hastily launched the “three-child policy” because its economic growth, which is “stable with a growing momentum,” as claimed by the state-owned People’s Daily in May, is actually no match for the current fertility crisis in China. An unnamed senior official from the CCP Health and Family Planning Commission revealed three sets of data during an interview...

The House will hold a hearing Monday to determine why the Department of Justice granted immunity to the technician who destroyed thousands of Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton’s emails while they were under congressional subpoena. Paul Combetta, the Platte River Networks (PRN) technician who scrubbed some 30,000 emails from Clinton’s private server, will testify before the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

All but four of Hillary Clinton’s 30,000 emails were copied, likely secretly, to a Gmail address called CarterHeavyIndustries@gmail.com, according to a new Senate report. The FBI says that the account was linked to Paul Combetta, an IT aide Clinton hired who used BleachBit to destroy emails after they were subpoenaed and misled FBI agents. Combetta said he sent all of her emails to the Gmail account as part of trying to copy them to a new server. Combetta was copying Clinton’s emails off of an old laptop that he was supposed send back in the mail, but there’s no evidence...

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said on Wednesday his government was cancelling all mining concessions and would not award any new deals to transnational companies as part of a wider sector restructuring. "Recently ... we decided, after looking at this and looking at that, to cancel all mining concessions. We will not give any more concessions to transnationals," Chavez said in a speech late on Wednesday. Left-winger Chavez has launched a broad campaign to review energy and mineral contracts signed by Venezuela before he first won office in 1998. He says some of the deals are robbing the world's No....

BEIJING (Reuters) - China praised its first joint military exercises with Russia on Friday for lifting relations to an all-time high and opening room for further cooperation. Eight days of drills involving more than 10,000 troops from the former Cold War foes' armies, navies and air forces concluded on Thursday with a practice air and ground assault in China's eastern Shandong province. The last event on the schedule was an outside "family-style lunch" of noodles, braised eggplant and fried fish washed down with beer as tank engines roared in the background, Xinhua news agency said. "Through the exercises, the two...

The value of the ancient warship is yet to...
