Two people have been formally charged with murder after a man was found dead in an Inver Grove Heights home early Saturday morning. Officers went to a home in the 2100 block of 78th Court East shortly after 2 a.m. after a 911 dispatcher heard the caller yelling for help and saying, “they are trying to get into my house,” but the call then went silent. Five suspected looters were arrested Friday for targeting homes in Santa Cruz County, California, whose owners had evacuated due to the wildfires.

Two other men from Los Angeles — 22-year-old German Michel-Arreola and 19-year-old Irene Michel-Arreola — were also inside the vehicle, the station reported, citing authorities.
