Jack Morrissey, a Hollywood Producer who is known for projects such as Beauty and the Beast and the Twilight Saga, called for minor teen high school boys to be murdered in a violent, gruesome manner. Mr. Morrissey joined the hate-filled media and piled on the Covington Catholic students after deceptively edited videos of the teens were posted to Twitter accusing them of harassing a Native American man. Full video of the incident shows the teens did nothing wrong — they were ambushed by blacks calling them “crackers” and the Native Indian man is a far left activist who harassed the...

"It's boring." Actress and star of the blockbuster Twilight movie series Kristin Stewart spoke with Variety magazine about the supposed gender gap in Hollywood's paycheck. "Instead of sitting around and complaining about that, do something," Stewart said. "Go write something, go do something." "And that's easy to say," she continued. "Like, ****, it's hard to get movies made. It's a huge luxury. Who gets to just make movies? But that subject is just so prevalently everywhere right now, and it's boring." "Guys make more money because their movies make more money," she added. "Let's start making more movies. It makes...

  • ‘Vampire’ Grave With Decapitated Skeletons Found in Polish Construction Site

    07/12/2013 4:52:10 PM PDT · by nickcarraway · 11 replies
Archaeologists believe they have found a vampire grave on a construction site in the south of Poland. Skeletons were found with their heads removed and placed on their legs, indicating they had been subjected to an execution ritual designed to ensure the dead stayed dead. An individual accused of being a vampire in Europe’s distant past faced a grim fate. Sometimes they would be decapitated, otherwise they might be hanged from a gibbet until decomposition resulted in the head separating from the body. In both cases the head was then laid on the legs of the victim in the hope...

Get your garlic, crosses and stakes ready: a bloodsucking vampire is on the loose. Or so say villagers in the tiny western Serbian hamlet of Zarozje, nestled between lush green mountain slopes and spooky thick forests. They say that rumors that a legendary vampire ghost has awakened are spreading fear — and a potential tourist opportunity — through the remote village. A local council warned villagers to put garlic in their pockets and place wooden crosses in their rooms to ward off vampires, although it appeared designed more to attract visitors to the impoverished region bordering Bosnia. Many of the...

A couple of years ago, I published a BYU Studies article about Mormon themes in Twilight that was picked up by Meridian, an LDS website. I received some feedback on the piece, mostly positive, though several readers took issue with one criticism I made about Stephenie Meyer’s series: “I find myself concerned about the retrogressive gender stereotypes in all of her novels, particularly the ineptitude of Bella. Although the novels repeatedly tell the reader that Bella is smart and strong, they repeatedly show her powerlessness. She passes out; she trips repeatedly; she is victimized three times in the first novel...

Is Mitt Romney trying to woo the teenage girl vote ahead of next year's presidential election? In a potentially campaign-changing development, the 2012 presidential hopeful admitted to NBC's Jamie Gangel that he happens to be a fan of the "Twilight" series. The revelation came up during a discussion of books the former Massachusetts governor has read, including George W. Bush's recent memoir. But that's not all, Romney added. "I like silly stuff, too," Romney volunteered. "I like the 'Twilight' series. That was fun."

MARATHON — After a lengthy investigation, police say a teenage girl admitted that bite marks on her body came from engaging in "fantasy biting" and not an attack as she had previously claimed. According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, the 15-year-old girl is a fan of the vampire-based "Twilight" movies and books. After being with a 19-year-old boy at her Marathon home in August, she worried about her mother seeing bruising and bite marks on her neck, arms and back.

Yes. I know it’s a vampire flick. Even worse-it’s a teen romance vampire flick. This information alone could induce some level of nausea. As a general rule, I request that my teens stay clear of anything that smells of wickedness.
