A former White House switchboard supervisor was charged Wednesday with embezzling thousands of dollars in taxpayer funds by manipulating an employee's time sheets. Prosecutors accuse Andrea Turk of Upper Marlboro of stealing nearly $11,000 by funneling money through an employee she supervised. Turk, 46, was director of switchboard operations at the White House, supervising 15 operators, from 2009 until she was fired in August 2013. The Pentagon has responded to a globally-released ‘Kill List’, asking law enforcement to give extra protection for military personnel whose personal information was released,News Channel 10 reports. UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) - A Prince George's County developer is accusing Maryland Senate President Mike Miller of punching him. Leo Bruso of Land and Commercial Inc. filed a complaint against Miller, alleging that Miller hit him as he left a hearing in Upper Marlboro on Wednesday.
