This article is a fascinating write up by Tim LaHaye that was written many years ago prior to the complete toppling of the Soviet Union. It's an excellent read for those wishing to know more about what Magog and Gog really are in light of the current situation in Ukraine and Israel many decades later. ......................................................... The chapter: “Will God destroy Russia?” The unbelievable upheaval in the Soviet Union that has already toppled that government has caused many to ask, “Will God still destroy Russia on the mountains of Israel the way the prophet Ezekiel described in Ezekiel chapters 38...

I tried to tell you. And so did others. The word has finally gotten out to the world–or at least that part of it that is not under an information blackout (self-imposed or otherwise). I’m from the old school. The “show me, don’t tell me” school. The Teddy Roosevelt, “Walk softly but carry a big stick” school. But every once in a while–when appropriate and timely–it’s good to show your “bona fides.” After we were hit with COVID-19 at the beginning of 2020, I started to post blogs and videos about it. It was obvious to many of us that...

"Sometimes the leak is so bad that even a plumber can't fix it." This was the concise summation of a cable political strategist the other day, after the third and final presidential debate. That sounds about right, and yet the race in its final days retains a feeling of dynamism. I think it is going to burst open or tighten, not just mosey along. (snip) But we have seen Mrs. Palin on the national stage for seven weeks now, and there is little sign that she has the tools, the equipment, the knowledge or the philosophical grounding one hopes for,...

Fittingly, the news is broken on a show hosted by the second-most fatuous suck-upper on MSNBC. Even if you buy her explanation for the infamous open mic mishap before Palin’s speech (also on MSNBC, coincidentally), this won’t come as a shock to anyone who reads her regularly. She’s a speechwriter and The One gives a good speech, or so I’m assured. That alone was probably enough to earn him a second look.

Mean It Voters want sincerity. If they can't get it, they'll settle for simplicity. Thursday, June 8, 2006 12:01 a.m. EDT A thought today about complexity and politics. The American people right now are not in a mood to trust any political plan, proposal or policy that seems complicated--highly involved, technical, full of phased-in elements and glide paths and Part C's. They are against complexity not because they don't think life is complex. They know it's complex. They know it because they live it every day. They assume public policy issues are also complicated. They know there are facts they...

I am curious why none of the media covers the most important aspect of the Malvo shootings. If you look at Newspapers on the dates when the shootings are underway you discover something I find quite interesting. The shootings begin to dominate the news the day before the debate on the Iraq war starts and they catch them the day after the declaration of war??? If you ask most people "do you remember the debate about starting the second Iraq war", they will all answer "yes of course". But if you followup with the question "name one point in the...

I recently received a reply to a post that stated: "This should be beneath a "freeper". Sad." So I asked.. what is it that makes a FReeper? My reply (and I will admit was tasteless) was also questioning. It stirred controversy and was removed? Why Moderators? Can you not tell me? Did it not meet with your "FReeper" mentality? According to all posted guidelines it should be listed but no, you chose to delete it. Yes.. I'm the first one IBTZ, I'm sure you'll nick me for speaking up..

There was a "gay" bookstore called Lobo's in Austin, Texas, when I was living there as a grad student. The layout was interesting. Looking inside from the street all you saw were books. It looked like any other bookstore. There was a section devoted to classic "gay" fiction by writers such as Oscar Wilde, Gertrude Stein, and W.H. Auden. There were biographies of prominent "gay" icons, some of whom, like Walt Whitman, would probably have accepted the homosexual label, but many of whom, like Whitman's idol, President Lincoln, had been commandeered for the cause on the basis of evidence no...

The horrifying secret plot to homo-amplify America. Also: Dig this hetero agenda! I have spoken with my gay friends. I have been to yoga classes and men's health spas and Restoration Hardware, chic rug shops and the Castro Starbucks and really cute restaurants featuring mixed baby greens that cost $12. I have observed. I have taken notes. I have checked the fashions and the cars and the skin-tight T-shirts, the newsletters and the bumper stickers and the secret codes hidden within the rainbow flag. It is time to come clean. It is time to reveal the truth. After all, the...

Many argue that communism will never be possible because of "human nature". The essence of this false argument is the belief that a communist society would consist of an all-powerful central government that would tell everybody what to do--and would therefore undermine the creative initiative of individuals and the search for happiness. • This argument is based on two false assumptions: (1) It assumes that a communist society will look like the former Soviet Union, or the current China, North Korea, etc (ie: corrupt police states with a feudal-style ruling class) (2) It assumes that people will only work in...
