Three would-be robbers, one armed with a pair of scissors, walked into a Woodbridge store on Saturday morning with criminal intent. A Brick Township woman is free on $2 million bail as she awaits trial, accused of murdering her husband and disposing of his dismembered body parts in three suitcases. Melanie McGuire, 32, posted bail Saturday and was released from the Middlesex County Jail. She is charged with killing her husband, William T. McGuire. A federal judge yesterday struck down a Woodbridge ordinance requiring protesters to obtain a permit from the police chief seven days before holding a demonstration with 20 or more people.
