Hello to all ... even though I’ve been here for several years now, I was hesitant to post anything about myself. Not paranoid — just treasure my privacy, that’s all.

I’m a retired U.S. Army major (retired in 1995). I’d do it all over again if I could. I miss the cameraderie, the clarity of purpose, the sense of being part of something much, much bigger than myself.

The state of affairs in our country brings me to seek others who believe, as I do, that our country has been hijacked by Obama and friends. You have not disappointed me! Free Republic has become a part of my daily life!
