I can argue the point that making society antiseptically safe in all areas of life have removed our ability to properly judge risks.
All of this started when every kid got a participation trophy. We elevated those who do not do as well as others to equal status. That means they did not have to work as hard, compete as hard or develop skills as those that did. Once parents encouraged that behavior and fought for their children “the road to hell is paved with good intentions” (Clairvaux, 12th Century) it was over.
What we wound up with today are children who can’t take care of themselves so their defense mechanism is blaming everyone else for their own failures.
Deep State has been waging a war on the nuclear family for decades.
Too many parents refused, and continue to refuse to stand, between Deep State and their kids.

Maybe that’s why my kids are normal, well adjusted, Christian and conservative.
We did a little of that with the first, but by the fourth one, well, he was kind of on his own to figure it out.

It’s true that reckless adoption of bad ideas - such as “baby-proofing” a generation of children into entitled brats - can weaken a culture.. but these are mistakes.
Let’s not forget that our culture is also under a purposeful attack by Marxist tyrants bent on destroying our self-governing Republic. They have been infiltrating and corrupting our institutions for a hundred years.
We are being told nothing but lies by our own government, our own professors, our own titans of science and industry, and our own journalists, anrtists and philosophers.
The average American is living in a Matrix-like illusion, starved of the truth, confused about a myriad of simple questions - the answers to which should be as obvious as the difference between a boy and a girl.
