Every once in a while, someone expresses to me the feeling that all is lost. Politics and current events are a daily gut punch, and it is impossible to avoid the cultural revolution exploding just outside our windows. These are, indeed, troubling times for weary souls.
It is no longer sufficient simply to turn off the television, avoid the Internet, and head out to the closest wilderness trail in search of momentary respite, if not tactical escape. Because Western Marxism seeks to politicize everything, it is increasingly difficult to find suitable refuge from the abhorrent hordes of “climate change” cultists, pronoun-obsessed wackadoodles, virtue-signaling simps, racial grievance monsters, Hamas enthusiasts, and other angry, “woke” trolls. While we endure the peak surges of Marxist globalism — a totalitarian system destined to crash from the weight of its own contradictions — it can feel as if we are drowning in unrelenting waves.
Please allow me to offer a lifeline. I know of no better daily exercise than to spend time (1) repairing and maintaining your relationship with God, (2) helping and protecting the members of your family, (3) testing and strengthening your own character, (4) improving your mind, and (5) healing your physical body. I have found that if a person works on these goals each day, it is much easier to silence outside noise and find peace.
There are two chief reasons why this is so. First, these five exercises are not easy, and they are not meant to be. You could spend every second of every day dedicated to any one and never accomplish the task. Maintaining a good relationship with God? Priests and pastors struggle to do so all their lives. Helping your family? That responsibility never ends. Improving your character? Even honorable people sometimes fail...

Where is he when you really need him? God is real real late with correcting this matter before it got this bad. This cruel “test of faith” is going to kill us all. Hard to see his compassion for the righteous so far.

No high horse, just a true virtue of honesty. I absolutely know I am not the only one to ask this honest question.
We are at a slight disadvantage in that we prefer to do things ourselves and keep government at arms length (or more). Leftists love government power.
Have faith in God’s timing on EVERYTHING! These points are good ones- Faith, Family, Country.
The Bible has answers for anything that happens, it’s happened before and results are verified, God actually wins all the wars and bad thought/laws, etc. as He is always good, always. God does not cause evil ever, but He has given us a choice and we, as Christians, are to chose love and righteousness. Pray to be ‘taken’ to the Word of God for your troubles!
My prayer is that evil do what it does so often- overplay it’s hand, awakened peoples identify righteousness and that evil implodes upon itself! Those in Satan’s power see this, know they are defeated and see Jesus Christ as love and take Him as their Lord and Savior. His armor will lead them through their agony with evil desires and they will be transformed. God wants everyone in heaven with Him!

I just watched a YouTube video of Florida Sheriffs arresting a leftist for keying the truck that had a “Let’s Go Brandon” bumper sticker.
The man admitted to doing this and has been charged with a felony because the conservative pressed charges.
If you end up in a legal dispute with a leftist, show no mercy and press charges to the maximum. Do not settle.
They would not give you compassion.

Totally agree. I’m sure the left loves that we concentrate on those passive points and leave them alone to find new ways to torment us.
What we need to do if we want to find long term peace is to get really pissed off, ORGANIZE and start kicking some serious ass and fumigate these roaches out of our lives. We’re in the majority, yet we let these roaches run and ruin our lives!
They win because they’re ACTIVISTS, we lose because we’re PASSIVISTS! It is way past time that we get off our asses and stop taking it, otherwise they just happily keep dishing it out.

I agree. They hate us, anyway, they call us racist, deplorable, terrorists, haters, bigots, etc., etc. anyway. We might as well be just as rotten as they think we are. Let them see what it’s really like to be treated the way they treat us.
