So was it worth one run to get through the top of the batting order?
And that’s that. Off to game 4...
Phew! LeClerc gets it done!
9-0 on the road post-season.
Ranger bats need to get going. Now we await the word on Garcia.
They did enough tonight...nice to see Scherzer show up...even for just 3 innings.
I feel your pain.....just north of you in the Toronto area.
You have had some success with the Blue Jays. The Maple Leafs, on the other hand…
You have the Argos, though.
(But apparently, nobody cares about them)
No way. It was a good goal. Besides, it was late and everyone just wanted it to end.
Uh, not everyone…
I’m old enough to remember the last Leafs cup. Watching it on a black and white tv back in 1967. I was 10 at the time. Just curious are you old enough to remember the Bills AFL championships in 64 and 65?
Also the Raptors NBA championship in 2019.
I stopped caring about the Argos I think in the 1980s. Basically this is the first year for not caring about everything else. I had small flickers of caring in recent years but it’s all over now.
Game 1 least-watched World Series game in recorded history

You knew MLB execs freaked out when Arizona won against the Phillies. A Phillies-Rangers series would have gotten much better ratings.
I wonder how much this is affected by the extended playoffs...
Arizona has no following outside of Phoenix.
The Rangers actually are getting more of a following outside of Texas, although admittedly they aren’t quite where the Astros are.
But the Phillies’ following nationwide is huge.
Baseball’s biggest problem is the lack of stars with some marketing power.
Baseball players back in the day were household names. Ask a casual fan to name five current MLB ballplayers, odds are they can’t do it.
So the only folks who watch the World Series now are the fans of the teams playing.
I like watching Winnepeg, still can’t believe they lost the Grey Cup last year.
There should be ONE wild card team in each league and three 7 games series. Divisional, League Chapionship, and WS. Imho.
Will never happen because MLB needs as many teams in the hunt as possible going into September.
