House hearing on Garland devolves into chaos involving AOC, MTG & Crockett: ‘Are your feelings hurt? Aww’
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) traded barbs with Democratic Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jasmine Crockett during a train wreck of a House Oversight Committee hearing Thursday night in which the lawmakers took turns body-shaming each other.
The hearing on whether to move forward with a contempt resolution against Attorney General Merrick Garland spiraled out of control after Greene brought up the daughter of the Manhattan judge presiding over former President Donald Trump’s hush money trial and then commented on the physical appearances of Crockett (D-Texas).
“I’d like to know if any of the Democrats on this committee are employing Judge [Juan] Merchan’s daughter,” Greene asked.

No such thing as taking it too far when dealing with the left.
attacking the eyelashes was funny - but might have been better to accuse her of Scarecrow Brain but then that might have gone over AOC’s head. MTG is a good fighter - but should do more advance planning when the R conference is involved. sometimes a speech/presser to make her point is preferable to jeopardizing the control of the House.
MTG shows more guts than most of the spineless Uniparty Republicans.
Is she perfect? Of course not. But I would gladly shake her hand.
But her eyelash comment was crass and accomplished nothing but animosity and embarrassment for her party, detracting from the subject at hand. I love that she has more "testicular fortitude" than most of the men in there but the wise mind has a throttle.
Raskin, on the other hand, would do the nation a great favor if he'd follow his son's example and 'go into the light'. I suspect the young man offed himself from the sheer shame of having an unapologetic communist traitor for a father.
I like the way MTG bashed that girl for wearing Geto eyelashes.
Shame on the people who sent Ms. Eyelashes to Congress.
As far as MTG goes, we need every male on our side to be more masculine than she is. Fat chance of that, but I can dream, can't I?

I want that the Republican party stays united has that united front but I wonder about Johnson if she’s objecting I wonder about him she is exactly what we conservatives like to think of as getting going after this BS. She’s definitely got kahunas.
From my perspective, it’s always hard to tell what these guys have up their sleeve. I know Johnson stood up for Trump at the trial and that is appreciated, but she’s objecting because he gives too much right. I don’t know.

According to Alinsky, and I am paraphrasing here, “Ridicule is the weapon the Democrats fear most.”
What I am concerned about is we all have Alinsky’s playbook. So why aren’t we using it? It’s not like Houston stealing signs or New England deflating a football. It is about our country and the one weapon the rats fear most is still in the Right’s holster. Take the weapon out of the holster and use it, like MTG did.
And the blue wave continues to build.

If she could learn to control her mouth and somehow heal her reputation, she might be an effective politician in the future.

MTG said the false eyelashes prevented her from reading her statement. Seemed that she was reading OK, but pronouncing big words is a challenge. Apparently, “sycophant” is pronounced “SINKophant” in the ghetto. Big words are haaaard!
