I heard Chris Matthews say it. I also think Chris immediately regretted let it slip out of his Demwit mouth.

I thought that my virtual obsession with him was well placed and I was full of regret that I didn't get him.

Bill Clinton

Clinton has the blood of over 3,000 Americans on his hands and chooses to lie again and again.

I actually don't think so. You can replay the clip (link above). IMO, it was premeditated. Notice how he doesn't let Fineman cut in during his trashing of the Times.

bump.

All the clintons could think about were the polls and their legacy. They couldn't go after bin Laden because that would have angered the muslims and thereby kill their chances for a phony Mideast 'accord' and a Nobel.

I will have more to say about this....

'GREATEST GAMBLE SINCE ROOSEVELT BACKED BRITAIN BEFORE WWII'

Gamble? How about doing the right thing. Supporting the Brits instead of the Nazis. Tough choice there. Another demonstration of todays democrats having no moral compass.

Someday, Mia, honest historians are going to look back at these times when they are able to have some perspective. They will wonder what in the hell our country was doing while the Clintons were destroying our national security. The real legacy is there, but it may not be known to all during our lifetimes.

My view on Clinton is he was a do nothing President.

As a conservative I believe still he is responsible for most of our country's problems today.

He did nothing for our defense (Hates the military). He did nothing for our court system (Filled it with left wing nut judges). And certainly did nothing in terms of leading our country (Spent his time following polls).

He lucked out. History will show just how weak he was. It will take some time, but his day will come!

Actually, Matthews as a D is in perpetual conflict; he has red-state sensibilities. Also, he was at the White House with Bush the night before the program. Bush charm likely loosened him up a bit. ;)

The 'Dims remind me of spoiled, pudgy teenagers who complain about their parents but are totally dependent on them. They need, and secretly love, the strong father-figure but can't show it.

My girl friend once told me, after my umteenth blowup with my teenage girls, "The more dependent your kids are on you the more they'll resent you."

Occasionally Mathews common sense comes to bare. During the 2000 fiasco I thought he was fair to Bush and even harsh to the Democrats at times.

The idea is interesting. I've wondered how the Iraqis will mark their decision of democracy, and whether there would be a statue of President Bush placed somewhere in that country.
