“Fordham’s Vice President for Student Affairs Michele C. Burris just handed the students inside the encampment notice that they are suspended and banned from campus.
The protesters have been suspended from “on-campus housing assignment, classes, final examinations, and all events including senior week and commencement,” the letter states.
The letter directs them to “leave Fordham University property.”
A student inside the building held the letter up to the window as supporters outside rattled the window, yelling “Shame!”
Well done Ms. Burns! THAT’S how you keep this garbage from getting a whole lot worse.
