Embattled House Speaker Mike Johnson, who will face a historic vote next week in the House of Representatives to remove his gavel and strip him of the Speakership, is plummeting among Republicans and supporters of former President Donald Trump and surging among Democrats and supporters of Democrat President Joe Biden.
When Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) calls the privileged resolution on a motion to vacate Johnson from the Speakership, Democrats intend to vote to save Johnson’s job by voting for the motion to table Greene’s resolution. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, the top Democrat in the House who has essentially seized control of the chamber from Johnson as evidenced by Democrats carrying the rule vote on the foreign aid package earlier in April, has made it clear he intends to make sure Democrats protect Johnson. But many might be asking why Democrats, who voted en masse to strip now former Speaker Kevin McCarthy of his gavel last October, would throw such a lifeline to Johnson and save him.

Trump said to support Johnson. He is correct. Marge is a mannish grifter.
Johnson is a liar , can’t be trusted.
It appears they’re all going to have to sign a contract like in ‘94. The reneg penalty will have to be a fine or self-expulsion. There’s no reason to vote for them now as the incumbents know there are no primary threats.
Accept that Mike Johnson is a Zeeper, complete with all of their policy positions, and these things will make more sense.
And Johnson is an effeminate poofter.
Maybe he should have looked at the polls prior to screwing up?

Maybe MTG is really a subverive Dim Trojan Horse, bent on hurting GOP chances in November by dampening GOP voter enthusiasm to an extreme low.
More like incompetent House Republicans who can’t function as part of a political party.
I’ll take any Republican over a Democrat, but it’s painful to watch the sad spectacle of House Repbublicans stabbing each other in the back.

Pissing money away all over the globe has a lot of domestic support, because the “manufacturers of consent” have been bombarding Americans for years with Internationalist & Interventionists propaganda.
As a nation we’ve become consumed by foreigners and the interests of foreign nations.

Anyone who supports Johnson is a traitor. However it does not make any sense right now to expel him when there is no hope of a positive outcome. But I will never support the creep.
And lets not forget that Trump said to support Wray, and Barr, And ACB as well. None of that worked out very well.
Johnson and the Republican Caucus have broken too many promises, they can all go to Hades.

He is. And I’ve said as much on here. But for now, it makes no sense to do what MTG wants. She was kicked out of the Freedom Caucus for good reason. She’s a show pony, and a very ugly one at that.
