Considering the state of Commerce Clause jurisprudence, I am interested in how this is okay (it doesn’t matter if they leave CA or not). Could it be that we are a lawless nation?

We are so much better than most countries that only have - poor them - one set of laws.
We've got two! One set for our betters, and one for us plebs...
