Cease fire, immediately upon confirmation of the death of the last HAMAS fighter, operative and leader.
Sadly, that’s not going to be enough to convince palestinians to never fight again.
They’ll be back in 20 years, doing October 7th again, within my lifetime.
There has not been enough collateral damage, given Israel’s extremely hygienic operations, to convince palestinians for all generations that killing Jews is always a bad idea. So, they’ll do it again.
Only with enough collateral damage would the whole populace understand that they never want to try to kill Jews ever again.
Sadly, insufficient collateral damage now means more wars and LOTS more dead people over time.
Japan and Germany never attacked their neighbors again, after utter defeat. THAT’s the standard that works. Unconditional Surrender, accompanied by so much civilian pain that no war will ever emanate from that populace again.
Sadly, Israel is too nice to do that. So, they’ll get more wars.
