Well, Rachele, that would actually be MAGAfreakout. So, get ready.

I would urge Maddow to prepare for the breakout- when Trump takes the oath of office
It will not surprise me to see Trump spend a night in jail.
There is no precedent for putting a Former President in jail. Given the security challenges the Secret Service would have a big say in this.
I remember back to the TV show 24 when fictional President Charles Logan did all sorts of crimes and was convicted. He was sentenced to Home Detention on his ranch and guarded by the SS.
This is what would happen to Trump, Home detention, probably at a location of his and the SS choice. It’s the only possible solution. Otherwise you could expect a huge court battle on this, probably only on the circumstances of detention.
There is no way he would be in Rikers or Federal Detention in Manhattan. Then here we are in the middle of a Presidential Election. This is not the same as a minor candidate like Lyndon LaRouche running from in Jail, this is the Republican Candidate for President and a Former President.
As much as the Left would’ve to see this, it just is not in the cards. The Judge is bluffing and blowing smoke on putting Trump in Jail. If he did there would be a backlash, how big I don’t know. If this were say a country in Europe people would be in the streets protesting and going on a General Strike, we just don’t have that type of reaction here on many things.
She really does show that some folks have a real education, whilst others have an ‘eddika-shun’. Oh well, she is perfectly trained for entertaining both folks who watch her on her clown network.
The freakout is going to be by the Dems when Trump wins huge because of this persecution.
I believe the secret service has already made it clear that Trump won’t be in a cell with an orange jumpsuit.

And nowhere in that article is a description of what was cited as Trump’s act of contempt. Essentially he quoted the judge’s brag about rapid sitting of jurors from the opposite point of view, and noted the political demographics of the jury pool the judge rushed to seat.
And all of her viewers who believed (and still believe) the Russia/Trump collusion are salivating over the thought of Trump being marched off to Rikers.
Ain’t gonna happen.
