A well known New York City real estate lawyer has reportedly prompted the state of New York to investigate Judge Arthur Engoron after he claimed to have given the judge unsolicited advice.

Engoron ordered former President Donald Trump in March to pay a $454 million judgement after 30 lenders turned him away.

Trump - who frequently referred to Engoron as 'crazed' and 'corrupt' - posted $175 million in bond before a deadline to avoid asset seizure as he appeals the ruling.

Bailey previously represented plaintiffs suing the developers of one of Trump’s hotel condominiums:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Leitman_Bailey

Trump SoHo New York[14] is a $450 million hotel condominium. In February 2011, several prospective buyers of condominiums in the building, including French soccer star Olivier Dacourt, sued the developers in federal court, claiming that they had been tricked into buying the condos by the “deceptive” sales figures, and that the number of apartments sold at Trump Soho had been “fraudulently misrepresented.” The plaintiffs were represented by Bailey. The suit was settled with plaintiffs recovering 90 per cent of their deposits.[15][16] Several years later, the case was described as “a watershed case in the world of condo litigation ... [C]ondo attorneys said that developers are now far more reluctant to disclose sales information to buyers’ attorneys, for fear of legal repercussions if they turn out to be wrong.”[17]

Look how a lawyer and judge interact about an ongoing case. They both know the law, yet they “talk” around the borders and say it was nothing. Very high profile, news worthy case and this is how they act? What do these people do with normal, everyday cases? The whole façade is gone……

Engoron ordered former President Donald Trump in March to pay a $454 million judgement after 30 lenders turned him away.

The lenders turned him away (if that's even true) not because they don't trust Trump, but because they are afraid of the corrupt legal system coming down hard on them. This is how swamp lawfare works.

This doesn’t make sense to me. The basis of the complaint is that it was an ex-parte communication, but the Judge didn’t solicit advice, and the advice he received was the opposite of what he did.

This is very thin gruel.

Um... "A well known New York City real estate lawyer has reportedly prompted the state of New York to investigate Judge Arthur Engeron after he claimed to have given the judge unsolicited advice"

Engeron should be disbarred for what he did to Trump, but that statement is stupid.

This guy claims he called and gave him advice (not asked -for) so he should be investigated? Ridiculous. So ridiculous it makes me wonder if it's a 'setup' to later get them to dismiss the charge, and say "See? Erigeron is 'exonerated'"

yes, sounds flimsy, but the judicial code states clearly that judges are not to receive advise from anyone regarding a case.

They claim “this Trump case” was not specifically discussed, but it’s clear their “general” discussion applied to Trump’s case. It’s a violation and should be considered.

The judicial review board can kill him, or excuse him, based on whether they like him, or hate him. They may be looking for a reason to dump a judge who’s embarrassing their courts now, past or future. NYC justice.
