Ohio is taking action to secure the integrity of elections ahead of the contentious 2024 presidential election.
Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose is urging the Biden Administration to grant access to federal citizenship information after removing “non-citizens” from the state voter rolls.
During a review of voting registrations, LaRose announced that 137 non-citizens were registered to vote despite not being U.S. citizens.
Following the discovery, LaRose instructed all 88 of Ohio’s county boards of elections to sift through their voter rolls for illegal immigrants.
“These individuals will receive at least two written notices from the Secretary of State’s office asking them to confirm their citizenship status or cancel their registration. Failure to respond to these notices will result in removal of the registration from the voter rolls by the county boards of elections,” his office said in a statement.
LaRose said that his office will conduct an annual review of the state’s voter registration databr to identify anyone who appears to be living in Ohio illegally— as well as registered to vote in elections. He said that some of the cases may lead to prosecution.
“Ohioans overwhelmingly passed an amendment to our state constitution which makes it clear that only U.S. citizens can vote in our elections,” LaRose said. “It is my duty under the law to uphold the constitution, and the legislature has explicitly tasked me with ensuring that only eligible citizens can register and vote.”
According to Ohio law, for someone to be removed from the state’s voter rolls, they must confirm they are not a U.S. citizen to the BMV on two separate occasions. They must also have updated their voter registration or voted between the two occasions.
LaRose has requested help from the Biden Administration, saying that having the databrs from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Department of Homeland Security, and Social Security Administration would help highlight non-citizens that may have been missed.
GOP lawmakers have advocated for the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act that would require states to require concrete proof voters are U.S. citizens rather than just signing a piece of paper claiming they are.
“Without the verification measures in the SAVE Act, we’re basically asking people who are already breaking the law by coming to the U.S. illegally to abide by the honor system. No way. American elections should belong to American citizens, period,” Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) told the Daily Mail.

Why would Ohio plead with Biden? Biden is the one who is promoting them voting for him. Headline makes no sense whatsoever.
So all the illegal alien has to do to confirm is say “Yes, I am a US citizen” with no proof what-so-ever? Strictly on their say so?
It’s is almost un-freaking believable. No other country on the planet allows this.

Announce, anyone caught attempting to vote will be arrested and deported that day with their entire family. They will never be allowed to enter the US every again for any reason. Park a border patrol out front on election day

Why does the State Of Ohio or any other state have to ask the Federal Government for access to any Federal information system?
The states are the masters not the servants of the Federal Government.
The States created the Federal Government not vice-versa.

That’s like asking the weasel to help provide hen-house security.
In Oregon-all they need is a driver’s license to vote. Oregon has been f’ed over by demonrats. Open borders=more Biden voters. It is totally undermining those of us that are citizens and we have to pay the bill for Biden votes. Biden is enabling illegal aliens and stealing money from US citizens to win. And that’s aside from the fact that they commit a huge variety of crimes including rape, child trafficking, murder and are also making money off selling drugs for cash which is not taxable. It’s certainly vile, if not treasonous activity by dem “leadership.”
The biden maladministration is only following their traitorous plans: purposefully bringing-in illegal alien invaders so as to give the maladministration of criminals at least some votes. Most US Citizens despise this current illegitimate government.
It looks like the far left turd rollers have their eyes on stealing the 2024 election also. Back to Back stolen presidencies.

The Democrats strategy is not merely to steal the election. It is to make it impossible really to know who won. Then pretending to know will be a loyalty test.
Nobody ever asked me to show my naturalized citizenship certificate and I have voted in every election since 1972.
Even banana republics require proof of citizenship to vote.
Largest democracy in world with over one Billion voters requires government issue voter ID with photo to vote. In USA, even dead people can vote.
They should remove them on their own and let Biden plead his case.
