A little dated, isn't it?

The interview isn't about the election but rather the qualities of a good leader. Col. Jeff O'Leary, author of "The Centurion Principles".

VISIT TO SENATOR SANTORUM'S SENATE OFFICE BUILDING AFTERNOON REPORT (TUESDAY)
A little bird told me, who just visited Capitol Hill a few hours ago, that the entrance office (lobby) to Senator Santorum's Dirksen Bldg. office in D.C. had three staffers (one male, two female, just as nice and professional as could be) fielding calls one after the other.
--The three each had telephone ear pieces in and could barely talk to visitors to the office due to the avalanche of calls.
--My source said that as soon as there was a "thank you and goodbye", there was short ring, and another "Senator Santorum's office, may I help you?" from that person. Every issue seemed to be on SPECTER and it sounded to the source as if 90% or more were OPPOSED.
--Source said one of the staffers kept saying to callers "Senator Santorum is not on the Judiciary Committee, but have you given your opinion to the members of the Judiciary Committee?"
--They were clearly under the gun. It appeared, this source told me, that in about 10 minutes time, the three of them fielded about 25-30 calls. They were indeed typing the names and contact information of each and every caller, too.
(Received report: 3:15 p.m. Eastern Time Tuesday)

Zogny stated his case and there a few callers, FReepers I assume. And yes, Zogby is stating all he does is collect the numbers and publish the polls, not generate news.

The simple math would have it, at least today, Tuesday, that there were at least 180 anti-Specter calls to Santorum's Senate Office per HOUR, which works out to 1,800 calls if he makes his staff stay late by 2 hours (10 hour work day), and even at 8 hour work day today, he's well over 1,000 telephone calls on this thing....not to mention all the e mails, faxes, drop by's by people, and petitions delivered in person.

Great leaders (i.e. those with excessive charisma and capable of acquiring, inspiring and motivating their followers to unusually high degree) are extremely dangerous beasts. Witness 1930s.
