As Tropical Storm Alberto threatened to strengthen into the ninth hurricane in 22 months to affect Florida, former President Clinton predicted Monday that Republican environmental policies will lead to more severe storms.
"It is now generally recognized that while Al Gore and I were ridiculed, we were right about global warming," Clinton said at a fundraiser for the Florida Democratic Party. "It's a serious problem. It's going to lead to more hurricanes."

Imagine that, changing the planet's weather in just 6 years.
For billions of years before that, nobody could do a darn thing with that wacky weather and George does it in just 6, count em 6 years! I'm impressed.
Wow, what a powerful guy that George Bush is. But then he had the help of Cheney, Rumsfeld, Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh and Halliburton.

I've said it on this forum before, but maybe it is worth repeating.
I was at the Tulane graduation ceremony in May. Presidents Bush 1 and Clinton spoke. Clinton claimed that global warming started this decade. It is the cause of all these great hurricanes. It causes the insurance companies to be overburdened.
I literally laughed out loud when he said this because I didn't think even he could be serious about such an incredibly stupid statement. But he was.

Just think. Bush's policies were the cause of the 1900 Galveston Texas big storm. A full century before GWB took office! President Bush is from Texas right!

He did about as much to stop global warming as he did to curb terrorism. Sure he did. He held off from farting (methane) during his term. Unfortunately most of that gas reversed its course and ended up coming out of his mouth.

Clinton has a short memory ...it seems like the Kyoto Treaty was rejected by the Democrat controled Senate 98-0 during Clinton's watch.

Bill is lonely, though I don't know why. The media are so in love with him it's like he never left office, he's omnipresent in the media.
They should just assign a camera crew to follow him 24/7 and devote a cable channel to the PervCam and be done with it.

The president's own family has kept Billy Jeff in the limelight. You have to wonder what it would take for the elder Bush and Babs to get upset with Bill "Like one of the family" Clinton.
The whole Bush and Clinton crew are pretty odd if you ask me. Fact is, none of them can relate to regular folks. Not that they want to...

Preying on the gullible, undereducated, and ignorant people in our society.
Unfortunately, democrat policies over the last forty years have caused their numbers to grow and grow.
