What ELSE can we do?

After all - the three positions available to us can each be found in the bible.

But a person has to ignore OTHER parts of the bible to settle on one of the three.

Thus we are left with waiting and watching.

Psalm 27:14
Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!

Amen and thank you for the good message and reminder of why we are called into the Kingdom.

Lord, help us to extend Your light. Help us to walk in the Spirit, to not be discouraged by current events, and to carry love and light wherever we go. Let us not be accused of being Christian In Name Only. Help us to keep our eyes on You.

I was saved in the early 80s - at about 25 y.o.

The next day I went into a local Christian book store and bought my first study Bible - a Scofield Study Bible.

I was intrigued by dispensationalism as a way of dividing the Word literally, and seeing it as a way to “understand what God wanted mankind to know and how to faithfully respond to Him at various times - through faith.”

I also understand that it rejects “replacement theology” and takes a premillennial position re. Christ’s return. It generally takes a pre-Trib rapture position - and on that point, I have in a “wait-and-see” position.

I was happy to read that you call yourself a dispensationalist.

Over the years good people have argued against this perspective and I have listened but I’ve never been persuaded to leave it.
