I just had to share with my fellow Freepers what just happened to me. I made the decision to go see Fahrenheit 9-11 today because my liberal friends said to be fair I should go see the other side's argument. I finally agreed to meet 2 friends there one of which lost her uncle who was a firefighter in tower 2 in NYC.
I went wearing my Reagan/Bush 84 T-shirt...as I was walking in people could smell the sarcasm coming off of me. I DID NOT have to pay to see this film. I was coming up to the theater and it was pouring rain outside and the exit doors were open on the side with people waiting for the rain to stop. So I walked right in and met the girls inside.
I get in and people were looking at my shirt..so much so an older couple moved their seats to get away from me...unreal. So the film starts and it is all about the election and how Fox News and Bush stole it..blacks were not allowed to vote because of Jeb etc..etc..etc..same crap..different day.
I held onto the edge of my chair biting my lip so I wouldn't lose my cool so early on...it was very tough. I just wanted to reach into the screen and rip Moore apart. He is so snide and disgusting...so f-ing fake. A genius at propoganda for his party and the base.
Well I thought I was going to be able to make it through the entire film....until Iraq. When Moore had the audacity to show Iraq as a land of carnivals,kids flying kites,weddings,dancing,music,and cafe's of people eating and laughing....and "then George Bush dropped bombs on them"...SORRY!!!!!!! THAT IS WHEN I LOST MY COOL!
I got up to walk out of the theater and then I just lost it. I started yelling " HOW IN THE HELL CAN YOU PEOPLE PAY TO SEE THIS ANTI-AMERICAN PROPOGANDA?","WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU LIBERALS? WHY DO YOU HATE AMERICA SO MUCH? THIS FILM IS ALL TWISTED LIES AND ANTI-AMERICAN PROPOGANDA AND YOU ARE SITTING HERE LAUGHING!! MICHAEL MOORE SHOULD BE TRIED FOR TREASON! WHERE WAS HE DURING CLINTON SELLING THE COUNTRY OUT TO CHINA? WHERE WAS HE DURING BOSNIA? AND THE OTHER AL QAEDA BOMBINGS? THE USS COLE? THE FIRST TRADE CENTER BOMBING? TANZINA? KENYA?
WHERE IS YOUR CONSCIENCE? WHAT DID YOU WANT BUSH TO DO IN THAT SCHOOL ON 9-11? HE WAS IN FRONT OF SMALL KINDS? IT'S CALLED SHOWING RESTRAINT AND CALM. THAT IS WHAT LEADERS DO!!!!!! YOU HAVE A GROUP OF PEOPLE EATING COOKIES TALKING ABOUT PEACE? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? SHE SAID THEY MARCH FOR THE WTO!!! THERE IS NOTHING PEACEFUL ABOUT THOSE PROTESTS!!! THEY DESTROY OUR CITIES AND HATE AMERICA! ANYONE WHO PAID TO SEE THIS FILM IS A TRAITOR TO OUR COUNTRY...GET THE F-CK OUT!
As I was in my rant...some people yelled back at me to shut up...other people were saying shhhhhhhhhh...others stood up and got management...then before I knew it 4 ushers and 2 managers came in and pulled me out of the theater while I was half way up the aisle leaving anyway.
I hope I ruined their freaking propoganda experience...they can all go to hell and die for laughing at Bush and our soldiers in time of war and us fighting for our lives against terrorism.
I was told if I returned inside for the day I would be arrested.
I said I wasn't keen on going out and protesting again for Bush this election as I am convinced half the reason I had a blood clot last year was left over stress from everything I did during 2000. But screw this...if Kerry is elected...we are so screwed it is not even funny.
Get out there and do it folks. The last thing Florida liberals needed to do was laugh at 9-11 and the surrounding circumstances....they have awoken a sleeping giant...us Protest Warriors are gonna cream them this Fall.

MMoore is counting on our long history of polite silence. Something has to shake the hypnotized leftist trend followers out of their robotic trance.

In the movie...Moore does that very thing in his own lettering...he was calling Porter Goss a liar during a portion about Goss saying he had an 800 number his constituants could call him on...Moore called him a liar on the screen saying "No he doesn't..not true...but his private office number is :"
So, this was in the movie theatre that locked out the union projectionists and hired part-timers?
All these libs crossed the picket line to see Moore's movie?

Congratulations. You stole from the theater, made a scene, and confirmed the liberal stereotypes about conservatives who can't handle hearing a differing viewpoint. But as long as everyone else here pats you on the back, I guess it's okay.

If I was the president, I'd forbid the showing of this enemy propaganda film as past presidents stood against any display of comfort to an enemy in past wars.
Michael Moore should be deported and stripped of American citizenship. Moore hasn't just made a film which is lying piece of anti-American propaganda, he has given speeches in foreign countries accusing his own country and countrymen of being murderers throughout the world.
Let Moore, the traitor, try this lying filth on another governmental leader in his future country of citizenship when they are at war. They'll have him in chains or worse.
I believe treason should be taken personally and denounced personally and publicly even if it is someone in your own family. You should denounce traitors for undermining the war effort and jeopardizing the lives of our valiant military people in harm's way.
There is a monumental difference between political debate and undermining your fighting soldiers, dying in a foreign land.
If not now, when?
Since Viet Nam, we have allowed traitors to undermine the declared purpose of defeating this nation's avowed enemies. We should stop this crap right now and I'm glad this brave man stood up and did what everyone else criticizing him HAS NOT DONE - Stand up publicly and call treason by its name.

No..I went into the hornet's nest and stirred it up...if you don't like it...turn your head and go to another place. I for one am tired of Democrats and Communists getting the only voice. I could give 2 shits what people thought..nobody else was saying it...and it needs to be said.
The alert should have been sounded about 20 years ago! The old guard still thinks we should suffer in silence for the sake of appearances! It is a generational thing I guess but it cost the country plenty!
I thank God each and every day for President Bush, Fox news, conservative radio hosts and the internet to remind us that we are not alone.
