there is another option. Do EVERYTHING in our power to vote their asses OUT, OUT, OUT and fight, fight, fight for our values in the interim—selling to our children and the rest of the nation the value or our values.

2006 - Our government is run by evil people like Bush and his cronies: any action to get rid of them is justified! They are doing things against the will of the people.

2010 - Our citizens are out of control! How DARE they try to tell their elected officials what to do? And how dare they be mad when we’re doing great work for them?!

Can anyone recall a time in American history when politicians lived in physical fear of ordinary, middle class, working Americans?

I don’t mean fringe whackjobs like the Weather Underground in the 60s and 70s or the so-called “anarchists” of the late 19th centurey.

I mean average, productive, tax-paying Americans like the Tea Partiers.

I can’t identify any such time off the top of my head (obviously, putting aside the actual hostilities of the Civil War).

Violence isn’t the best answer, but it is inevitable.

“...make phone calls, faxes, emails, organize town hall meetings...”

What happened last Sunday was proof positive that the left knows that the right are a bunch of PUSSIES who they can just roll over at will.

They will continue to shove their Socialist agenda down our throat until we can grow a pair.

"Violence Is Not the Answer...Or Is It?"

No, it's not. Just quit generating such high revenues for big government and its special interests by buying what you don't need. Become more self-sufficient.

Violence may not be the most desirable way to get a point across but it does gain more attention than peaceful demonstrations do. In September nearly a million people marched on Washington and Obama acted as if he hadn’t even noticed them. Compare that reaction to what was generated by the brick through Louise Slaughter’s window... and that wasn’t even REAL violence.

No one with any sense wants our situation to erupt into shooting but that’s where it’s heading. Each side accuses the other of fomenting it and spins individual events to justify their versions. Liberals are sure conservatives want to kill them and conservatives believe that the libs are hoping for some sort of “Reichstag Fire” event so they can consolidate their hold on the government.

Who’s right? I don’t know but it looks more and more like both sides are pushing for the same thing... a bloody civil war that neither will win. With both sides working for the same end it’s just a matter of time before it starts. Are you ready? Are your kids ready?

I am confounded over the wisdom to respond at all. However some things must be stated in plain English.

Do we have choices?

Let us examine some recent history:

‘We the people’ play by the rules of the system, a representative republic (NOT a democracy) that any casual disinterested observer, using informed reason, will note is not functioning as originally intended by those who designed it, and left us not only the official blueprint, but also more than sufficient precursory writings to discover and understand exactly what their intentions were and were not.

The letters, faxes, e-mails, and phone calls of a responsible yet desperately vexed citizenry, probably sent by the millions, go without honest response or else are ignored completely.

Sincere in-person overtures, made by constituents to their elected representatives, gain nothing but scorn, ridicule, pejorative attacks and even physical violence against their persons through the attacks of hired thugs.

Protests having over 1,000,000 peaceful citizens, unanimously and respectfully demanding a redress of their grievances, utterly fails to make an impression on the elected representatives of We the people.

Those who “speak truth to power” effectively, rebutting Utopian ideologies having a long and tragic history of failure and which by design are diametrically opposed to American culture, are targeted by political operatives for illicit investigations that amount to unabashed abuses of power.

The public media is manipulated and used as a political tool to pillory, culminate, marginalize, and, if such were possible, disenfranchise all dissenters opposed to the apparently pre-ordained outcome. A media that now functions as a propaganda organ secured by those whose ideology trumps their ordained mission to objectively search for truth. A media that has jettisoned even the pretense of their constitutional charter to hold as a sacred duty the preservation of the truth.

Every manner of dishonest maneuvering is accomplished by elected representatives, and at all levels of government, their actions proving a complete contempt for the considered opinions of an informed and justifiably concerned citizen majority, even in disregard of the well-announced electoral consequences for such wanton disrespect.

What am I stating here? I am stating without reservation that the political voice of the people is not only ignored, but it is actively despised and confounded. How is the color of all the preceding offenses different, by any rational measure, from the acts perpetrated by the British Crown under King George III? They are in fact far worse, for reason that our representative government is empowered only by the consent of the governed. We are a republic, not a monarchy, and so our non-representing representatives have no excuse behind which to hide their obscene offenses against truth, justice and charity. Their actions make those of King George tame in comparison. All that remains for them to do is to quarter troops in our homes; and does any reasonable American, perceptive of recent history, entertain any doubt that this too must come to pass?

Today it is socialized health care and the hijacking, by the raw government power, of one-sixth of the private sector economy. This action following the ransom, by threat, coercion and fiat, of the banking, insurance, securities, and automotive industries.

On the “federal” radar is a total control of all water (navigable or otherwise) all food production, and all dietary supplements. On their radar is control of all transportation and manufacturing via the pretense of a ginned up crisis based on a demonstrably corrupt and politicized science. On their radar is the control and ownership of all parental authority and educational jurisdiction.

Tomorrow will see their corruption of the ballot box, via legislative acts of amnesty and universal voter registration. They will work the same unconstitutional tactics they have used to implement nationalized health care and all the other reckless acts of usurpation and piracy. If successful (There is little credible reason to think they will be anything less) then these practitioners of gross perfidy and malfeasance in office will have Carte Blanche powers to affect whatever they will upon the American people.

Then, so as to stave off what may be argued a justifiable rebellion, they will incrementally implement all color of law (as did the Nazis and the Stalinists) so to effectively neuter and finally remove the last bulwark of resistance to which the American citizenry has as its recourse: our firearms. By the time Americans universally recognize and accept as true what has come upon us, it will be too late to affect any meaningful resistance to the oppressing tyranny of a supreme national government, wholly alien to the form our founders created. We will be killed by the death of a thousand cuts. We will be effectively emasculated, chained and sold into slavery in less than one generation.

So, considering these very real and hardly remote possibilities, what recourse have we?

There is an old piece of wisdom that I recall, though not verbatim, so I will paraphrase: If one does not fight when he may win, there will come a time when he must fight knowing he shall lose.” My dearest countrymen, I offer this warning for your thoughtful consideration.

Yeah right, like the new ones voted in will be any different?

No, they won't. The reason being is the individual Representatives or Senators do not set the agenda, the party does. Unless the PARTY is changed or eliminated, the mere changing of the individuals is meaningless.

Compare the capture or killing of jihadists. They will be replaced by others who walk to the tune of Islam. As long as Islam exists so will attempts at our annihilation.

In each case we are striking at the wrong entity. We are attacking individuals instead of their ideology. In the struggle for survival either you go for the jugular or you might as well capitulate. Harry Truman decided to stop the bleeding and struck two decisive blows against Japan.

What will it take for us as a nation to finally say, enough is enough and strike the blow(s) to put a stop to the bleeding caused by foreign and domestic enemies???

Violence is so old-school. Frustration may make us fantasize about a direct confrontation but the Left is too smart for that. They, along with the media, set the terms of the debate. Anyone doing anything that can remotely get labeled as the act of a criminal, nut-job or enemy of society will be dealt with. The result will only be to have the media marginalize our ideas even more. Look at how the Government practically put anyone who carried a Constitution on a terrorist watch list. Look at how they told law-enforcement to watch out for people with the wrong kind of bumper sticker.

Meanwhile, the laws that are passed are insidious in their cleverness. They won't ever do something that can't be justified as kindness and compassion, thereby confusing and flummoxing over half of us. They won't ever confiscate weapons. Instead they will find ways to make owning them and using them so expensive that very few people will be able to afford them.

No - the answer is communication, of all kinds. The pen is mightier than the sword. But, you say, the MSM own communication, not any more. There are a lot more tools at ouer disposal than were availble to Tom Pain and Ben Franklin. We can write, shoot video, haunt social networking sites and more. Look at some of the very clever work being done by young people such as Jason Mattera: http://www.nrbookservice.com/products/BookPage.asp?prod_cd=C7581

My favorite tool is ridicule. http://www.buzzfeed.com/sarahmorgan/obama-zombies-d8 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KhbYjkxxYc

But, do whatever you are good at, even if it's a crayon drawing. Besides, have you noticed that ammunition is getting really expensive? I don't think the factories can keep up.

What happeneds when you poke a tiger in the cage relentlessly, he gives you warning, he growls, an attention getting roar until he’s had enough. They need the citizenry to crack and revert to violence. It is thier justification, thier ongoing claim that Republicans and teaparty people are voilent enemies of the government. We must not give them the satisfaction. When that line is crossed there’s no turning back. Set your sites on November and when all possible hand your representative who ignored you and voted for all this crap a thank you and a flower. I think that would be more distrubing to them.
