Elena Kagan, Solicitor General of the United States, is to be named as successor to liberal stalwart Justice John Paul Stevens as early as today by President Barack Obama.

Kagan, 50, a New York native, has been widely reported to be the front-runner for the nomination. She was a finalist for the high court vacancy last year when Justice Sonia Sotomayor was selected to replace the retiring David Souter. If confirmed, Kagan would be the third woman on the nine-justice bench and the fourth in the history of the court.

The Constitution has been so debased, it has been ruined. So putting another Marxist/Homo/Statist on the Supreme Court really doesn't matter.

"Some men look at constitutions with sanctimonious reverence, and deem them like the ark of the covenant, too sacred to be touched."

Let me guess:

1) “Progressive”
2) Belives in a “Living Constitution”
3) Thinks the primary purpose of government is to bring about “Social Justice”
4) Could pass for the less attractive brother of the guy from “The King of Queens” TV show.

Is that about it?

She has no judicial record as she - it? - has never been a judge before.
