Dear Freepers.
Sometimes my country right or wrong doesnt work.
When leftist stupidity perverts institutions like the police and the courts so that people like Cardinal George Pell, aman respected by both the conservative Pope Benedict and the liberal Pope Francis, can have their careers destroyed by profound injustice, then the country itself must be challenged to right itself.
That is what I have wanted to do.
The moral of this story for Americans is: Dont Vote For Joe Biden.
If you defend Donald Trump, you defend Western Freedom.
Everything given to you or make it on your own
I have a hard time understanding this rant, but he seems to be saying he’d rather be in a cell in Indonesia than forced to wear a mask...
No.
Indonesia does not trump up sex charges against a guy like Pell and throw him in Gaol.
They always seem to forget the next part of that: "When right, to keep her right; when wrong, to make her right."
And they succeeded.
It's not a coincidence that Bill Ayers pursued a career in education.Google him if necessary...he is,very possibly, the filthiest and most despicable creature to ever tread on American soil.
So...you folks Down Under shouldn't bet the farm on a Trump victory.

East Timor was a nation which went to the left when Portugal went to the left when South Vietnam fell.
That is not condoning all Indonesian actions there but putting them in context.
In Australia, teachers are government employees.
As an American reading your posts I feel you should include footnotes.
Your posts are loaded with history, social and political references, and personal experiences unknown to most American readers (or at least me).
Here, for example, you describe Islam in a way that counters the recorded history of Islam (at least in the west):
"The religious tolerance was extraordinary. In an institution dedicated to the very devout Islamic practice, I was totally accepted even though I was not a Muslim and not engaging in all Islamic rituals. This is because Islamic people in Indonesia have a very widespread and deep tolerance for their own principle La Ikraha Fiddin. (There is no compulsion in religion.)"
I do not view Islam as "the religion of peace" even though that seems to be your personal experience. The history of Islamic conquest, destruction, and submission is well documented. Ask the Indians about their history of "extraordinary" "tolerance" during the Muslim conquest of India.
As I said, nothing personal Best regards.
And to prove how tolerant they are Muslims will cut your head off if you disagree.
Thank you for stating your opinion here. I am glad to receive honest feedback and take no offence at all.
I post as works of art not essays. Therefore I rarely put footnotes there. On FR though people who dont understand can ask questions. I often answer but not always. In my micromovies I have often added subtitles with different American understandings in mind. (For instance on this post - https://freedom-demokrasi-and-civilised-humanity.com/2020/07/25/what-about-brotherhood/ - the two small subtitles are there in part because an American audience may have trouble hearing the meaning of what I am saying.)
What I experienced of Islam in Indonesia IS what I experienced of Islam in Indonesia and is certainly different form the very negative views of less tolerant Islam in other places. I have just Google “Mike Pence Islam Indonesia” and the first things that come up from him in 2017. (”As the largest majority Muslim country, Indonesia’s tradition of modern Islam, frankly, is the inspiration to the world,” he (VP Pence) said. “We commend you and your people. In your nation as in mine, religion unifies — it doesn’t divide. It gives us hope for a brighter future. And we’re all grateful for the great inspiration that Indonesia provides for the world.”)
At the moment in the bids to build an international alliance to counter China, Indonesia is a crucial but sometimes missing component.
Best regards reciprocated.
Not all Muslims are like that: the obscenity of decapitating people online.
But some are.
