Did Tucker Carlson change his show plan last night?
In late February Tucker Carlson announced that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy granted him unfettered access to the Jan. 6, 2021 protest footage at the US Capitol.
Axios reported that House Speaker McCarthy handed over 41,000 hours of Jan 6 Capitol footage to Tucker Carlson at FOX News.
Tucker Carlson made an announcement on the news later that day. Speaker Kevin McCarthy gave Tucker Carlson and his team unfettered access to over 44,000 hours of January 6 footage.
Tucker was the only media outlet allowed to access the thousands of hours of footage.
Since the announcement, The Gateway Pundit and 33 January 6 Defendants and dozens of their family members and supportive outlets have signed a petition demanding Kevin McCarthy give access to The Gateway Pundit and the January 6 Defendants and their families who are not being provided the critical government video for their trials.
Last Thursday night Tucker Carlson told his audience he will release information this week on his team’s analysis of the 42,000 hours of video footage from January 6, 2021 protests.
Tucker’s Monday show was explosive – Tucker Carlson immediately exposed how many of the narratives propagated by the January 6 commission were vicious lies.
Among these lies were Brian Sicknick being murdered by protesters, (Tucker showed he was unharmed), Jacob Chansley aka “The Qanon Shaman” committing sedition (he marched peacefully throughout the Capitol), and Ray Epps being a patriotic whistleblower (he perjured himself before the committee.
Then the US Senate leaders Chuck Schumer and Mitch McConnell jumped into action. They cannot allow their narratives to be disrupted. Schumer went to the Senate floor and threatened Tucker Carlson and FOX News for daring to show video evidence from that day.
Mitch McConnell sided with Schumer and against the American people.
Tuesday night’s show was tampered down. Tucker Carlson did not release any explosive video. His interview with a Capitol Hill police officer was interesting but subdued. There were no big “reveals” on the show last night.
Now there are suggestions that Rupert Murdoch and the FOX News brass got to Tucker and changed his show plan.
Investigative reporter Sharly Attkisson tweeted out that the show plan was changed.

There is so much from January 6 that is left to be discussed.
Tucker Carlson has yet to report on the four Trump supporters who died that day and the police involvement in each of their deaths.

Who can pay him the millions he makes now, and allow the same relative journalistic freedom he has had at Fox News? No one?
A good time for McCarthy to release them all to the public.
DeScrotum is locked into GOPe borg which using him to tame Trump supporters. Only Descrotum doesn’t see it or know it.
Exactly, Carlson is just the new O’Reilly. Slick enough to fool the rubes into thinking he’s a conservative, but he’ll never break his leash and actually go against the establishment.

Then why bother releasing any at all?.....for McCarthy to make it appear like he’s fighting back?
I instinctively and almost automatically had an apparently-correct feeling that someone, somebodies, somehow, somewhere had put the kibosh on Carlson's series of revelations harmful to the Left.
This happening last night is extremely disturbing.....and I'm looking forward to my fellow FReepers' comments on this turn of events.

Schumer should be removed from the Senate, for curtailing Freedom of the Press.
Also, his fellow NYer John Peter Zenger would be deeply ashamed of him. Zenger fought for the right to publish news that exposes political corruption.

Main-stream media, as a true news source, is dead. They are pure state-run propaganda. Even Fox news is caught up in this game.
The future is independent, on-line media. The dinosaurs of the MSM will never “lead,” they can now only react to sites like Substack, Joe Rogan, independent sites like Breitbart, or hundreds of others.
I will remain skeptical, but give Tuck a benefit of the doubt and say editing and compositioning of video is a slow process, and he may have not had enough material to do a show last night, so look forward.
If nothing happens between now and Monday night, it was kiboshed and is dead in the water................
That wouldn’t matter, in the case of a man who has the courage of his (professed) convictions.
This is EXACTLY why I was skeptical of McCarthy's release of the videos to only FOX news.
Releasing to one favorable news-site only is clearly not in the interests of "giving Americans the right to know." He also had to imagine something like this playing out with corporate Fox, and its political and other corporate enemies. So what was his plan/game?
The left loves to deflect, bringing up texts of Tucker saying he hated Trump..honestly WHO CARES IF HE DID or does..do I give a damn, NO, I wouldnt care if Rachel Maddow had released those videos we have every right to see them to know what really happened..but the left wants Tucker destroyed since he destroyed their narrative..Im thinking assassination attempt
Because McCarthy knew that if he gave them to CNN or MSNBC they would never show them to the public

it’s called controlled opposition for a reason. McCarthy is GOPe at the end of the day so he sent to Tucker knowing Murdoch and Ryan would serve as gatekeepers. We will get tossed a bone but the whole truth will be suppressed.
I have no doubt that Tucker has just exposed the tip and there is much more to go... the telltale to whether someone higher up at Fox is putting the kibosh on what he wants to air will be what is on the show tonight.
