It’s the largest cruise ship in the world.

So someone’s building a combination of Titanic with a cruise ship?

We’re going to need a bigger iceberg.

I am curious if that is an image of Titanic or an actual ship. I think they built a replica of Titanic for nostalgia cruises.

Shouldn’t be a surprise. Titanic was only 46,000 tons. Most cruise ships today are well over 100,000 tons.

Looks like they are the same length but the height and volume are much bigger for the modern ship.

Who on earth didn’t know this? Comparing a modern state of the art pleasure cruiser to an over century old ferry is a little pathetic. My question would be; is the Icon the tech marvel in its time that Titanic was? When you look at the tech specs of the many extremely complex systems needed to operate Titanic ( YouTube)you’ll be amazed that we’re talking the first decade of the twentieth century.
