President Biden has challenged former President Donald Trump to not one, but TWO presidential debates in the most cringe-worthy way possible. Not only does Biden want to circumvent the Commission on Presidential Debates, which would have suggested 3 debates, but he wants to hold the first one much earlier than usual — BEFORE the Democratic National Convention. Glenn has a theory as to why this is: Is he giving the Democratic Party enough time to REPLACE him if his polls keep dropping? Any debate will not be chess. It will be a totally rigged event. Trump’s best tactic will be to hammer Biden with facts from 2008-20016. Make Joey defend Obama. Get Joey’s blood pressure up so he does the world a favor and Strokes Out!!! Biden, his entire career is prone to anger, LIGHT HIS ASS UP and then watch the fireworks.
Trump isn’t going to be allowed to win the debate. So Trump’s best option is to make Joey pay a very heavy price for that “win. “
Hopefully this upsets Kennedy so he attacks Biden.

Correct, this is why this early debate (without RFK) is an absolute trap for Trump.
The questions will be all about Trump's legal “troubles” and put Trump on the defensive from the beginning and all debate long.
They will badger him and cut off his mike and Biden will just stand there and be ignored as much as possible.
The purpose is to make Biden look like a nice old man and brand Trump a criminal.
These debates are a major mistake on Trump's part. He will not be allowed to say what he wants and will be responding to the so-called “moderators” attacks all night long.
I think it's funny that anyone thinks it matters what Biden wants.
After the roll call of states he declines (as instructed) to accept or name a successor. Thereby clearing the way for dem. big wigs to choose candidates for both Potus and VPotus.

Excellent point AC, but don’t think the trials , ongoing or on hiatus, won’t be a major subject in the debate, from the Dem side, one way or another. That would constitute another big roll of the dice like they’ve been doing since Day One of the Biden admin., and they figure they might as well keep doing it and figuring ways for it NOT to backfire.
Dem voters central theme was breaking the glass ceiling for women and minorities.
So... their candidate for President was,and remains an old white guy who has undergone several brain surgeries and likes to molest women.
I would like to hear one of them explain the rationale that led to their decision-making and why NONE of them have ever publicly questioned that decision.
Then again, asking that question to people who want to cut the sexual organs off their own children is probably a waste of time.
