Form, a box office viewpoint, that approach has not worked since From Russia With Love. On Her Majesty's Secret Service was an example of that type of film, but it was not well received after Goldfinger and Thunderball. The problem now is that the producers have totally watered down the whole concept of a Bond film. For example, they don't want a memorable badguy like Blofeld or Goldfinger because they don't want to take away from the character of 007.

Yeah, that would really help. The new bond films with Bronsnan have been way to thin on plot.
