So we're supposed to believe that this is an act of charity on the part of Regan Books-- to help the world better understand sociopaths like OJ? Well then, why is there no announcement that all proceeds will benefit charities that assist people who are abused by their partners?
Also, Regan claims to have great empathy for victims, yet admits that she made a deal that, if upheld by the court, will cheat the Goldman family of their ability to collect the judgment awarded them. Not the act of an empathic person if you ask me.

and Hannity was somehow trying to rationalize O.J.'s book and show.....maybe cause it was done by FOX....either way, Hannity shows the wuss that he is......if one of the 3 networks was showing this....he would be the first to be all over them.....hey Sean......"yes or no, do you still beat your wife"......God I hate his stupid "yes or no" questions......
To: Howlin
It's outrageous; but they ALL will watch it.John Gibson said it best today on The Big Story, that the whole world will be watching and waiting for him to say he killed Ron and Nicole.

I was trying to find out when this interview was, and came across this article. This paragraph speaks for itself.
According to Fox, which will screen the interviews on November 27 and 29, the book will "hypothetically describe" how he would have committed the murders.

So in other words, we're gonna here more of the same BS we did 11 years ago. Since this book will hypothetically speak of "how OJ would have committed the murders".

Everybody who cares about this issue, raise your hand.
: looks around :
Didn't think so.

She should be hailed for getting OJ to confess.
How would the money he makes not go to the Goldman's?
He is currently living well because his pension can not be attached but I thought he said he would not go out of his way to make any more money because the Goldmans would get it.
To: common denominator
She thought the money would go to the children...riiiiigggghhhttt. Does she really expect us to believe this crap?!? Yeah, she didn't do it for the money - yet she'll reap the benefits when the book does well. If she didn't do it for the money then she'd donate the proceeds to charity. She is getting so much negative press she's had to go on the offensive to salvage her clientele. You reap what you sow, baby. Do you think she actually believes her own PR?

What a terrible piece of writing. Deceptive and full of self pity.
Who's daughter died in the hospital? Her's or OJ's? Why was the ex-husband in prison? How many men was she with, or married to, that beat her?
I destest this type of writting, that encourages the reader, by ommision, to draw conclusions that make the writter more sympathetic.

Judith Regan did exactly the right thing. I will not read his book or watch the interview since I already know OJ is guilty but by doing this interview she exposes the hypocrisy of the 'law' and the lawyers and the court system to abort justice. The most culpable I believe is the female judge who gave his two children back to him to raise. What hope do those children have for happiness and normalcy.
I also know about people who seemingly are leaders in their profession and 'look good on the outside', even Christian but are so disfigured emotionally that under cover of their outward goodness, in secrecy try and often achieve doing great harm to others. All of this took courage on her part. She also points out that no one criticises those who interviewed the Menendez brothers, Castro, Manson, etc. I think she should be thanked. Cordio

That bit puzzled me too.
Later in the article she refers to her daughter. Different one?

If the contract stipulated that payment would be made to his children and not to Simpson himself, it is probably out of reach of the Goldmans.

Really? I didn't know Colmes wrote a book saying OJ was innocent. Really???
To: tjg
Exactly. I couldn't figure out what the hell she was talking about. I'm glad it wasn't just me.
To: Howlin
While I was raising my son, he had lived a high life and then lost everything. He ended up in prison, lost his medical license, lost many of his worldly possessions, lost his looks and now, most of the women who once cared had gone, too. And he was losing his mind. His hand was shaking violently. He had Parkinsons disease, and was a broken man. Hey, another 'plus' to opposing stem cell research!

LATEST: The father of RON GOLDMAN has instructed his lawyers to take action to seize all monies OJ SIMPSON was paid for a new book in which he hypothetically places himself at the scene of the murder of his ex-wife and Goldman. Lawyers acting for FRED GOLDMAN insist any profit Simpson makes from IF I DID IT, HERE'S HOW IT HAPPENED is legally owed to the Goldman family under the judgement of their 1997 civil case against the former American football star. Simpson was acquitted of the murders of NICOLE SIMPSON and her friend Goldman in 1995 in a criminal case, but was later found liable for their deaths and ordered him to pay $33.5 million (GBP18.6 million) in damages to the families of the victims. PETER CSATO, one of several Los Angeles-based attorneys representing Ron Goldman's estate and his father, says, "You can say we're taking efforts to execute under judgment for any funds due to him from the publisher." Simpson is set to appear on US network Fox later this month to promote his book in a two-episode show of the same name.

Larry Elder had Fred Goldman on as a guest yesterday. He recommends:
Don't buy the book. Don't watch the show. Boycott Fox if they go through with the telecast.
To: Howlin
If he has contracted with Regan Books for the money to go direct to his kids, how can the Goldmans get any of it?
Sydney and Justin don't owe the Goldmans anything.
