Toby, you are so right about idle minds being dangerous, and I applaud your efforts of book gathering for prisoners.
I know that the postal service has cheaper rates (but slower delivery) for mailing books. Maybe you should check out the latest rate for that sort of thing.
I don't think you should be the only one to bear the expense, however. Could you convey the need to some churches...maybe even some police associations...and ask for small donations for this very good cause? Wishing you well in your Christianity-In-Action.

This is on my own, I will send what I can afford. I am going to check with the post office and see what chey charge. Slow mail is OK with me. onethat is a facct, those folks arn’t going awhere soon.
