The GOP should give the Democrats everything they want on the budget.

Posted on 11/14/2012 2:37:48 PM PST by Jaguarmike

The American people voted to live in the Democrats' world. A lot of them seem think there's a bottomless well of money and free stuff to be given away, and they want it.

So I say, let's give them what they want.

If Obama wants higher taxes on producers, let's not stand in his way. If he wants more government benefits, let's allow it. In short, let's California-ize the U.S. And when the economy sinks to new lows, as it surely will, moochers won't be able to mooch anymore. The gravy train will have passed the station.

Reality may be the only thing left to save this country.

Your “we must destroy the country in order to save it” may sound good, but the destruction could take many generations to repair and engender civil disorder and great suffering.

The house Republicans WON REELECTION. They must govern the house ON THE PRINCIPLES THEY RAN ON!

I think we covered this already.

Just hold fast and let the Bush Tax Cuts expire.

I’m in. Let’s brace for impact and get the crash over with quickly. Rip the bandaid off quick.

But the GOP would have to announce they are relenquishing all control of the government over to the President and will be rubber stamping everthing. That would teach the American people a lesson. In fact, then the American People would learn the same lesson we just taught the GOP for nominating a RINO. Right?

Oh, wait.

If they could do that, and make it clear why, it’s not such a bad strategy. The tough part is to acquiesce and hammer home that you disagree. Not sure if you could do that, principles be damned.

There are only two alternatives here: bad and worse. There’s no good choice.

The Democrats’ claim they have all the good ideas to fix the economy. I say let’s allow them to put them in practice, so they can be disproved before the entire country.

This is part of the plan. Other parts are stacking one obombination atop another for a reason. That means there is something more ominous that our attention is being distracted from.

Whatever they do, they will be blamed and vilified as obstructionists by the press and the administration. Perhaps, the best tactic would be to either turn their backs and walk out during major votes or by yell “You Lie” ad nauseam until the “Sergeant of Arms” physically removes them from the premises.

Nope. That’s not how the game is played.

Those of us in red states must assert our rights against the abusive federal government.

Let the blue states tax their people into poverty.

Then at the end of the marxist president’s term, we’ll see which states are gaining jobs and population (and eventually representatives in congress), and which states have killed the golden goose.

The idea is, don’t let the federal government subsidize the bad ideas from blue states by redistributing money from the red states. If we can accomplish that, nature will take its course, and red states will flourish.

You might be in, but the average dumb voter won’t be. He (or she) will be swallowing the media line that the GOP is to blame.

If they have their agenda, if they get their way, they can’t blame us.

We tried that this year. The purple states with GOP governors and conservative principles (Ohio, VA, Wisc, are doing great.) A lot of good that did us last Tuesday.

If they allow the Obama agenda, they take the blame. If they oppose it, they take the blame.

When the Democrats say,”Fix the economy” they do not mean fix it you and me associate the term with. They mean socialize and communize. Like Stalin fixed the Soviet economy and Mao fixed the Chinese economy.

The gravy train will have passed the station. Reality may be the only thing left to save this country.

The Cloward-Piven strategy is to do just that...destroy the American economy and then in the panic that ensues the people will call for an all powerful dictatorial leader (like for example, a Hitler) to come to the rescue and feed, house, clothe and employ them. No way jose' I'd rather fight.

I agree, but those nations weren’t republics in the truest sense of the word. There’s a reason they had to build walls - to keep their own people from fleeing the country.

In this country, we register our displeasure with the ballot.

We are past the point of teaching the GOP-e or American citizens a lesson. I have lost faith in the American Public. We have turned the corner, reached the tipping point. The MSM is the mouthpeice for the establishment liberal and now for a majority of the electorate.

I do not see a path back to prosperity for our nation as a whole before we violently bottom out.

I wish all good, hard working and god loving citizens the best and hope for their good health, wealth and happiness. But the American Dream is dead.

We are changing our lifestyle and lives to accomodate this New America. I do not count on or expect to retire, buy retirement property or ever have wealth to pass on to my kids. I’ll be working and running a business on the side for as long as I am able. My wife will be working and running her business on the side in the same fashion. Our kids are healthy, smart and hard working. I hope they will fair better.

I consider it our version of “Going Galt”.

Cancer surgery hurts, but if you fail to remove the cancer, the outcome is worse. The Republicans have four ways to halt the Democrat juggernaut at this point, all of which involve them *not* joining the Democrats to ruin our country.

They can refuse to pass any more continuing resolutions based on the last W. Bush budget, which they have been passing for FOUR YEARS now; OR, they can refuse to continue the W. Bush tax cuts, the “fiscal cliff”; OR, they can refuse to halt sequestration; OR, they can refuse to raise the debt ceiling.

Let’s face facts, the country cannot abide two more years of this grotesque negligence. Either the Republicans call a halt to it, NOW, or in two years, we will face not just a Great Depression, but a national catastrophe.

In the lame duck term, there are some Republicans who are not staying over to the next congress. Put them in charge of this refusal, to take the brunt of Democrat and MSM attacks.

For two or three months, the Republicans will face terrible abuse, but after that, all the big money backing the Democrats will be *desperate*, and putting enormous pressure on the Democrats to compromise, to keep the money flowing.

So two or three months of pain, then the Republicans will be able to name their terms.

Nothing would be gained. The country was falling apart before the election and afterward it has only accelerated. The people who re-elected 0bama could care less.

If the Republicans give Democrats what they want or fight they will still only win blame.
