So scripted. It's blatantly obvious that they want her to win. They put everything but the kitchen sink on stage with her. Harpists, violinists (some of whom I suspect have never held a violin before today) a dude pounding a drum. Candice sings Striesand's "Somewhere". Some definite screeching in there, but it won't matter.
And there it is. A predictable standing-o from the judges.
Keith: If you want to vote for Candice, call the number. If you don't want to vote for Candice, call your doctor.
Minaj: Four words: see ya next week.
Randy: She had one of the greatest vocals in Idol history. She got another one! This was like a singing lesson. So proud of you.
Mariah: You made me emotional again. A+ Amazing!
After the recap, we have more shilling for Candice. Seacrest brings Iovine out on stage. He asks him who won that round. Iovine says that Candice didn't just win the round she won the night.
Angie won that round. And they gave Kree a clunker, on purpose.

Yeah I do, too. I like them all. These three were my top three picks from way back.
Candice sang that beautifully. I knew she would the second I recognized the song from the few first notes, and I’m sure the producers knew she would blow it away.
No matter who wins, they ALL will have contracts. Guaranteed.

It seems that the producers were a little nervous about Kree’s popularity. The last selections showed their hand.

Man.. the fix is in. We got Randy saying sharp or flat don’t matter? Sheeesh.... Kree gave the most moving performance of the night and the judges' sit on their butts. Candice screeches through that last song and they hop out of their seats. "Wooooo! Wooooo!" LOL

What a stupid song choice. Jimmy you toad. And that last "producers' choice" song was crap too. I bet they didn't plan on Kree's second song being as good as it was.

I thought Jimmy was the voice of reason and I generally agree with him...but he showed tonight that he is in with the rest of them...pimping for Candice to win. Bah!

Yeah, any Rascall Flats could be a bit tricky, as Gary LeVox has a very unique voice that is so full of emotion. And Kree did him proud.

All three girls are great. But the shameless way the judges and producers of Idol are pimping for Candice makes me angry! It’s this sort of thing that makes a mockery of a once great show. Candice absolutely shrieked “Somewhere” and they gave her a standing ovation. Pathetic!
