Because everyone is from somewhere else, they’ve made a hash of things wherever they are from, and they go to Florida because they know however screwed up they are...it’s Florida— they believe someone else will be worse.
Just got back from a family wedding in the midwest. Damn near died of boredom from the normalcy.
Sounds a little like Las Vegas. Losers from all over the Union go there as they just need "one big break", fail, and hang around on the edges.
