Well that makes me feel a little better about it. Still a little odd given that he apparently told Glenn Beck in an interview this morning that he would be showing more new video. But maybe he meant later in the week, not on today’s show per se.
Speculative but I wonder if Tucker has chosen to invest more time in the Qanon Shaman aspect of the story than he had originally planned. Maybe meeting with the mother and attorney moved him and persuaded him to change his emphasis some.
The Democrats and the media made Qanon Shaman the face of the “insurrection.” Just think if the extra spotlight he’s now getting helped overturn his legal status on grounds that exculpatory evidence was withheld. Talk about blowing a hole in the narrative. And of course the same reasoning and outcomes could apply to the others being similarly held.
Maybe Tucker is looking at the huge potential upside in this, both in terms of reshaping the narrative and simply undoing a vile injustice, and has decided to adjust fire a bit.
The Q-Anon dude is clearly mentally ill. There is video of him at multiple protests on both sides of the political aisle.
I had previously seen the video of him yelling and screaming in the Senate Chambers (or house - one or the other) and the Jan 6th committee was careful about what they did or did not show to create a narrative. They accused Tucker of the same thing today, but stop and think about it... IF Q-Anon was violent why did we not see that video from the Jan 6th committee or why wouldn’t they leak it given that it would make Tucker look like a liar?
This is the problem with releasing this video to one person - they made “Tucker” the focus of this and not the video because we don’t know what the rest of it shows and we have seen less than 1% of it.
I did think he made good points on the show tonight. This was CLEARLY a violation of Brady and our courts have NEVER accepted this to my knowledge. To have an attorney on there who said he asked to see this video as part of defending his client and they refused is inexcusable.
