Speaking for myself. as usual. I lean towards the idea that Dems are propping up Joe as long as possible to avoid Kamalla, but also avoiding Speaker McCarthy.
Today. Kamala was scheduled to leave, oddly, for a second trip to Vietnam. Seems Vietnam recommended she cancel due to an illness outbreak among government officials there.
Last time she was there, she had plane trouble or some such.

McCarthy has said about the impeachment effort that more evidence is being requested by House Republicans, and more evidence is certainly coming out. McCarthy suggested possibly September, for taking a look and bringing action.
