They said abortion was just 3% of what they do. But that lie from the abortion industry was never even close to true – which is why one abortion business in Austin, Texas.
Because it no longer makes money killing babies, the independently-owned Austin Women’s Health Center may have to close its doors. Now that Texas has banned abortions, protecting women and unborn babies, the abortion center’s revenue stream is gone.
The nearly 50-year-old abortion business is now trying to raise $75,000 to stay open.
Most Texas abortion centers have closed but Austin Women’s Health Center remained open despite the end of Roe. It turned to more legitimate health care instead, as it now offers ultrasounds, contraceptives, miscarriage management. But it also promotes abortions in other states because it just can’t get away from ending the lives of little children and harming women.
Not surprisingly, it saw more than 3,000 patients between June 2022 and June 2023, an increase in patients seeking legitimate health care. But at $500 or more for every baby killed in an abortion, there a significant revenue stream that is gone.
Former director Julie Smith lost her job thanks to Texas’ pro-life law claims women will have nowhere else to go if her pro-abortion center closes. Never mind that a quick Google search on miscarriage care, ultrasounds and other services turns up multiple results in one of Texas’ biggest cities.
Perhaps if this center would have only offered non-abortion medical care all along it would have been able to build up a client base that could withstand the end of abortion.
Oh no! Maybe they can start a GoFundMe.
Looks like the girls may want to start thinking about being more careful when they “hook up” with some cellphone pokin’ slob with a college diploma but no job.
