The big question is: Are they locusts or refugees? Locusts move from place destroying everything in their wake. Likewise, folks moving from destroyed leftist cities, if all they do is support the same thing in a new city, they're locusts.
Refugees are escaping a bad situation but do not support the same policies and activities that made it that way in the first place.
Aka, when we moved from Mn to SC, a nice gentlemen said, "Well, y'all are welcome but you better vote the right way." Indeed we do. We are refugees, not locusts.
Good point to bring up. The same thing is happening in regards to people moving from places like California, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Illinois, etc. If those people vote as they did in their native state, they'll continue to destroy everything around them, just like illegal immigrant criminals are doing as well. There should be a sign posted at the border of every conservative state that says exactly what you said.
