Yeah, but for pure ripoffs of the Beatles you need look no farther than The Buggs, who were rushed into the studio to record unintentionally comical versions of
She Loves You and
I Want To Hold Your Hand and a bunch of their own highly derivative tracks for an album called
The Beetle Beat, and dumped on store shelves in February of 1964 hoping the rubes wouldn't notice the difference.
So yeah, capitalizing is one thing, but get a load of these "original" tracks:
