Good morning. Interesting development in the funeral, in that there was participation by the Archbishop of Westminster, who is Roman Catholic. Discussion about increasing ecumenicism in Britain, and the Prince of Wales has said he wants to be the "Defender of Faiths," not the "Defender of the Faith."
Good Morning Jane. Interesting development indeed...could this be a sign that the Catholic Church is finally making a come-back? We certainly do need some positive news in light of all the "new" revelations lately...I heard there were a few cases of this "news" over in GB one particularly where a Bishop was either forced out of the Diocese or forced to Resign, I forget which.
I am just more than disturbed over this whole issue and the way it is being played out. NONE Of this is NEWS...not the "indicidents", not the "coverups"..and while not condoning it, I just find it unsettling that so much attention is being paid to it NOW...as if the Catholic Church is the only one that attracts these types, be they pedophiles or plain adulterers.....i could go on...but I won't.
