The Shield is excellent, but for no-holes-barred-I-can't-wait-to-see-what-happens-next-week obsession, it's gotta be 24.

Nope, not into the superhero chick movement.. La Femme Nikita (the TV show and especially the movie) had both beat.

For sheer thrills, nothing beat Kiefer Sutherland in 24. I was lucky enough to see the first hour, and I was hooked. I have yet to be disappointed. Dennis Hopper, a late addition, is at his sleazy and evil best, and there have been more twists than the Pikes Peak road race.

Dittos to The Shield. An easy switch right after 24.
